 problem to my kenwood. ddx5034, please advise with playback

hi everyone, i got something that have been confusing me. i've read everywhere saying that this ddx5034 double din player was able to play videos from USB thumbdrive but ive tried almost all of the possible video format. anyone have encounter this before? please advise me. thank you

from the spec can play only certain format:-

1) Audio - MP3, WMA, WAV & AAC
2) Video - Max Decoder 2 Mbps, MPEG1, MPEG2 & DiVx

I have the same player as yours until some idiot decide to break my window and steal it last week.. sad.gif

I had also tried many formats mentioned and doesn't really work one... quite lousy player.. anyway... finally i got it to work... try MPEG2.. it worked for me

mpeg2 is VCD format ??
if divx can be support, then it should play most mpeg and avi

im sorry im new to these but mpeg2 i guess i tried before but it doesnt work, can briefly tell me more on how to? if im not mistaken there are something like max 2mbps thingy. confused

maybe u need to find a video editing software to see what type of file they use and the file data...

just one question... how to get the navigation module functional...? I got kenwood ddx bluetooth version, and gps navigation is disabled...

Only videos in CD can play, try burn it in CD or DVD and try. Tumbdrive only for mp3

 

Change to:
