Applied for these 2 cards through a aquaintaince working in Maybank Sabah. Basically it was a favor as I think she needs to reach her quota and coincidently I was planning to get these 2 cards.

She submitted my application last week, and today she told me that my application process is still pending after enquiring with the card center. She said nowadays the application process is more stringent.

Just wanna know how long did it took for u guys to receive your card?

What was the reason for rejection?

I called up the card centre to enquire about my application status but was told that there is no new application under my IC no.

I msged my fren again and she said she has ady faxed my application to the card centre, twice somemore as the first time the card centre staff said the application form was too blur or something.

Gosh, if I knew this would have happened, will go the the Garden's card centre to apply straight.

Just received my platinum 2 cards today. Had to call the CS to activate the card and at the same time tell them to link both cards to my M2U. The guy was suprised why my card wasn't link together. He submitted a request for me and told it'll take about 3-10 days for the IT team to do their work.

Before that I was told that I had to go to a branch to do it and it'll take 24-48 hours. Weird..

did u make any calls to the CS?

I know most petronas stations don't accept amex.. but just for trying sake, I tried using my amex just now. The screen could display maybankcard amex but couldnt proceed further displaying transaction declined. Does it show like that for all petronas that doesnt accept amex? i tried asking the attendants there before but they look even blurer than me

Tried to use amex in one of the new Petronas station after Sg.Besi toll but can't. Tried at the petrol portal, transaction declined. Went to the counter portal offline =( Looks like I either have to apply the maybank petronas credit card or either change to Shell.

Yeah will probably apply for one. Does the TP apply for supp card as well?

can ask the CS ppl to do it. One of them ask me go branch then I called bck CS and spoke to a diff person he did it for me.

Do agree with u guys. So difficult to find a petronas station accepting amex but today I went to one of the regular stations I visit, tried my amex & mastercard at the petrol kiosk, think got problem both cards also rejected, went to the counter and paid with my amex, viola! Now I know where to go ady, don't have to apply another card to pump petrol anymore.

anyone of u who pays their outstanding balance even before the statement comes? Just wondering..

Haha okay. Am almost reaching my credit limit as I bought my proposal ring 2 weeks back using the amex card.

Bought the i5 yday at Penang's celcom center. Damn they don't accept amex for the phone payment for for bill payment their portal does accept amex. Was told thatphone purchase & bill payment uses different portal. Signed up for auto billing with my amex too for another 5% discount from celcom monthly.
