regarding the maybank 2 cards, is there a minimum number of swipes required to waive off the "free" annual free?

thanks. it's my first time in credit card. wanna learn more about it.

let's say i buy sth worth RM100 using credit card. AFAIK, there's a minimum interest/fee charged immediately to it, isn't it? even if i payback the credit in maybank2u website within a month, there's still interest, correct?

I've read the fine print on the form.
QUOTE
D) Minimum Monthly Repayment | Pembayaran Balik Bulanan Minimum
5% of the outstanding balance or a minimum of RM25. | 5% daripada baki tertunggak atau minimum RM25.

can explain more on this?

i see some shops offer monthly installments in buying tv using credit cards. the shops say 0% interest for 12 months. how is that 0% possible when the bank already charge 8.88%?

My relative told me that there's annual fee for american express, very expensive and useless. Different bank though.

Is this true? Got extra fee for Amex?

I ask my relative again and he said his amex card is not under a bank. It's independent, fully AMEX card. He canceled it after informed to pay the fee. It was a few years ago.
