Hi all, wanted to ask. Did the merchant allow to write our credit card full 16 digit number when they issue an invoice?. I m worried now

Yah. some of them do that. My phone dealer has been do that ever since I can remember.

is it secure?. I pay my bill at celcom just now. Their merchant copy got show my 16digit number (others merchant blank certain number). They not able to generate computer invoice. So they issue me the manual invoice with hand writting. Until now still panic. It's because i read a news in The Star newspaper few days ago regarding credit card imitation

What is the difference between manual and your data being captured in the merchant's system? When you go pay bills at restaurant, and the card is out of your sight for like 3 minutes, they also can copy your info lah.

And if you still worried about this tomorrow, better you just cancel your card and use cash

Yes as long as you don't go for the paperless option in M2U.

I meant when will they send it to us. End of every month or beginning of new month?

It depends on your billing cycle of course. Call up CS to ask when is your statement date.

i think 1 of the merchant that i charged my amex did not proceed to claim it from mbb.
been checking my online & monthly statement for this 1 particular transaction (the txn is from Foto Zzoom)
the approval code & the receipt already printed out that day, but when i ask the CS quite recently on any floating transaction, there was no mention of that particular txn. & it has already been a month since then... to celebrate or not to celebrate

i also have this issue..

swipe my card at mydin, the amount is rm580.37 i think... bu the cashier key-in wrongly, she key-in rm580. 39...then she ask us, how because she key-in extra, then i said, 'dont care la, 2 cent only, if 2k i angry lor'.... she then said, 'okla, if not i must call manager to reset bla bla'.....

after 1 week, it does not appear in my maybank2u, i called maybank, they said got 1 transaction, but got disputed....

then 1 week I call again, they said now no floating edi... it have been 1 year since that day.... do know celebrate or not... pity the cashier i think she must pay back....

dun so happy 1st ... sometimes they juz don't submit or what ... got once also i eat at some Vietnamese restaurant in 1U ... the card didn't charge till 3 months later ... lucky i keep my receipts all the time ..
