Uh , I heard about it , but the price is somewhat expensive. There was a thread in Garage Sales about this (5km wifi device)

Short answer: To the best of my knowledge, there is no such integrated device, ie. such a powerful device available readily in the market. You'd have to build one yourself.

Long answer: Too lazy to type here. You need to explain transmit power, receive sensitivity, cable loss, attenuation, etc etc etc.

And building something that can extend beyond a couple of hundred metres, especially when you don't have a clear-line-of-sight is expensive. The high gain antenna itself will cost a couple of hundred RM, then you'd need to get a device capable of emitting a higher transmit power, preferably enough to cook someone's brains. And finally, good luck in trying to buy these equipment in Malaysia
