My preference is always ASI> Crit damage as...ASI is constant, i.e the more shots you get off..more chance of hitting crits. Also ASI build is more flexi, as you can move to LoH build. If you go pure crit damage build, hard to change later... Anyone want to add to the above please fell free?

But we know DPS is average, so assuming you weapon range damage is 100-500, each shot may hit for 100 or 500, its random. So assuming your 100 shot is a crit...it will then x with your crit damage % (assuming its 200%) so you will get 300 for the shot. next crit shot is computed the same way..i.e say 300 shot is a a crit damage then its 300x 200% = 600 + 300 base damage that is why u keep seeing your crit damage always fluctuate, but in fact your crit damage is constant =200% always. The difference is cause by the random base damage you hit out lor... That is why I think ASI boost crit chance. As ASI is also constant, it will boost cirt chance in the sense you get more chance of hitting crits as you dish out more shots.

More info to share is always gooding  . so conclusion is crit damage is a little overrated if your crit chance is low, same like Sharpshooter is also overated if your crit chance is low.
