i really confuse which uni should i choose. help me please.
which is better for engineering course?

For me i will opt for UM.. Top 1 in Malaysia..eventhough um is not specialised in engineering than USM.

i'll go for UM for your options but why not UTM?
its the best for engineering in malaysia.

UM is better at theory engineering. not sure about the application though.

i did put the UTM as my 1st choice in UPU n i really want to go UTM but i only get UM n USM offer for this sept intake. huhu. RU vs apex

heard from my fren that companies prefer to hire those from usm for engineering.nt sure hw true is the rumor

UM: Engineering Comp Aided Design & Comp Aided Manuf (CAD/CAM)

thats not perfectly true.
source: my dad friends.

but in ur cases..i strongly advice u go for manuf eng with mgmt. why? it has better prospective of jobs.
cad/cam mostly work in front of computer..too many competition when it involves comp. Look at Comp. science grads..hardly get any jobs..too many end up being unemployed.

to be perfectly honest UM has very old facilities. some colleges has very bad toilets and else. UM is old. Many people only striving to get into UM cuz UM has(at least, had) great reputation and name in engineering. UM now has mostly been successfully produces good doctors,lawyers, literaries(who studied language).

i dunno bout USM.

UTM i get kejuruteraan mekanikal kejituan...quite good i think but i dont really like the environments there as it is in the city somemore the campus is quite small...some ppl said some school might be bigger than UTM KL campus...

go study at USM since your major has wider job opportunities.

for USM,i got the same course as _dd...Manufcturing engineering and management

that course is kinda new: new course

from the name mechanical kejituan, maybe its mecha based, but too many mecha based object in the world including watches.. wrong course, im afraid you end up being watch engineer at tag heuer..lol
i'll find more info about it later..

I know my BM is terrible, so correct me if I am wrong. The word jitu translates to something like accurate, right? So, mekanical kejituan would translate to precision mechanical engineering?

UTM civil eng.

For facilities.. USM provide the best.. trust me because I'm study at USM main campus.. and fyi.. Kampus Kejuteraan Nibol Tebal is more newer than main campus and ofcourse the facilities are the best and USM like to improve it facilities since it got their APEX...

why not you try go and search on the job demand and look for their needs (eg. must have knowledge in autoCAD, etc) then look for the uni that offers related course. :-)
