Hi. New member here. Thought I'd introduce myself by these two. Just started this as a hobby by buying the Tank mags from issue 1 til now....money permitting, should have somemore. So far, all I have are the ones that come with the mag. These two I added the tanks (extra ones).

nice !! yea where u got those ?

I got them online. I was initially upset that Allscript wasn't able to give the FAMO and trailer, as advertised. Instead, they gave me two models to replace it. They weren't even sure whether they can get me the FAMO. I got the FAMO from an ebay vendor in US. Costs me approx RM150.00, including postage. The tank was an extra model from Agostini. The netting was made from a unused laundry bag and painted to match.

The US Dragon Wagon was also purchased online RM200. The tank is again an extra (Agostini). The display cases are made locally and the lettering, local printer with thin double sided tape.

Both tanks are screwed onto the trailers' flatbeds and the models are then screwed onto the display cases.

I am waiting for a few more models that I purchased online. A Willys jeep with AA gun and a Kubelwagen (This one is particularly difficult to find, at least cheaply!). Should have it sometime next month.

Here are a few more non-Agostini models that I have. They are nothing special. I got them because they look nice.

Went to Allscript yesterday to pick up issues 18,19 and 20. Also 2 sets of issues 3, just for the binders. I can't understand why Allscript won't let us have the binders only.....

The T72M1 is awesome, though. Very well detailed.

My new ones arrived last week. Took some time to have the cases made. They are not Agostini. The StuG, Type 40 and Kubelwagen are from Dragon Armour. The Jeep and Horch are from HobbyMaster

My latest one! It's a IJA Type 97 Japanese tank used here during WW2. This one from Dragon Armour.

Yep. I can only assume that Fubar meant the square, laying on the floor, household decoration kind and not the 'other' kind. whistling.gif innocent.gif

CTC is a bit hit and miss for me. Some of the model like the two free gifts are very detailed IMO, but the latest one I have (King Tiger) is very least detailed.
agreed. the quality is irregular.
