There is always room to improve for any business .... in the case of this VW service centre, that room is HUGE

sharing: T&H will not go wrong. Value is there especially H. Good outlook that is important.

It is still way behind to catch up especially in MY.
Buy a car is like buying a house just that car is drop value, but it is the whole service, reliability, responsibility by the car manufacturer or service center, low maintenance cost and high resale value that count.. Buying a car already is loss but surely you also do not want to loss so much.

H -> Peace of mind.

Same here. Currently drove Civic FD facelift too. Still love my Civic interior but fall in love with GTI power & handling after test drive them.

IMO, realibility, total cost of ownership of the car, service, spare parts are very important beside the looks and specification of the car.
For the high price of the care like conti, you will not want to go to service center once a month or frequently visit service center. I have used it before and TOTALLY REGRET for conti.
You have spent so much for a car, you will want to have a peace of mind and spend the rest of money and time with your beloved family and not just use the other $ to repair the unrealibility car and spend so much time to service center.

Now many AES, cannot even drive fast for fast car unless summon is not a issue for you. Summon = $.

Owning a car is like owning a house, just that car will reduce in value. You want to stay in a house with reliability and comfort, no water linkage, no electricity off, no roof top dropping, etc. as compare to a house full of fancy and high tech things but always need to call technician or contractor to repair.
Just sharing…
T&H still the best in car in MY.

by the way, how's the reliability of the mechatronics after the software update....?

Sharing: reliability is very important. looks for those give you peace of mind. You can sleep well for T&H.
As you also knows many issue on this advance gear box or turbocharge, not only that, bad service center and lack of service center also causes you problem.

Too bad it came with the 7speed DSG. I assume this is the dry clutch gearbox. Heard so many horror stories about the 7 speed DSG. One of my friend had to replace the entire gearbox in just less than 1 year!

Will regret ! Looks for peace of mind, T&H will give you.

While I agree with the principle that reliability is very important, I can't help but get the feeling that pjkl is working for T&H.

Anyway, Sam, can you pm me the latest offer for golf gti? Thanks.

Not working for T&H, but have experience for non-reliable and reliable.
Always want to have peace of mind and spend more time with family rather than spend more time to worry, go to service center, broken down here and there or broken down in the middle of the road... waste valuable time.

Many AES, no point to waste $ to buy turbocharge while cannot speed fast. If want fast, then pay summon = burn $.

It is everyone choice...just sharing experience.

pjkl, do you own any VW? How sure you're VW cars are not reliable compare to T&H?
T owner will always have perception that T car is build for long lasting & peace of mind, but the sad case is T just recalled millions of cars with have problems.

Hi, experience to share.
Owning a car is same like owning a software, Total Cost of Ownership, included time.
Yes, recalled, but they are responsible that is important. Reliability is not just 1 person to say but build on long time. For me, rather take a old tech, but reliable and have more time with family and friends rather take a high tech with problem and need to spend time to find spare parts and go to SC waste valuable time, $ and effort. More high tech tend to have more problem and more speed will let you more high chance of speeding and get AES summon and take your life to higher risk.

Car is just a transport and time with family is more important.
Wife and car cannot compare, one is human and another is vehicle (no life). It is just sharing, no offence to anyone. Choice is still at your hand.
