I went to a VW showroom today to check out some models. Currently they have some Pre-reg Jetta and Polo Sedans for sale. Jetta RM142k and Polo Sedan RM89k.
I think Jetta rides and performs better than the new Honda Civic 2.0 imo. |

Today I tested the Golf Mk7. Its very refined and smooth indeed. The ride is comfortable and quiet inside the cabin. Good quality plastics used gives the car a premium feel.
On a side note, when I was on the highway at full throttle, I got smoked by a Mazda 3 MPS. This post has been edited by Yapmy: Mar 23 2013, 11:49 PM |

QUOTE(sakurazz @ Mar 24 2013, 12:08 AM) Nah it was just at 'D' mode I was at the fast lane doing about 110kph ++ and increasing while the Mazda MPS from behind just went to the middle lane and overtook me effortlessly. |

QUOTE(MoNnY @ Mar 24 2013, 03:06 AM) My only concern is the dreaded 7sp dsg. I'm looking at a new jetta now. getting bored of the old "H" brand. I wonder how is the reliability on the newer MUs The SA told me that the Mk7 uses a new 'improved' version of the 7spd DSG and he claims that there isn't anymore issues with it. According to him there will be a price revision for the Golf MK7 and Golf GTI MK6 where it is expected to increase by RM5-6k and RM27k respectively due to increase in tax by government. QUOTE(Jim.tan @ Apr 19 2013, 12:59 AM) Yes and No! Thanks for your reply! I think its still okay with me then as long as can fold it using the control stick. No, as in it doesn't automatic fold for you when you lock your car.. Yes, as in you can fold your mirror when you twist your mirror control joystick |
