My mom was looking for Passat Sport. Went to Volkswagen Jalan Ampang, no Passat Sport present and no SA layan us.. Yeah, self service.

Back from wearmes sg besi. Wamted to test drive the passat sport, but the SA there give us a VW CC to test drive claiming that it has the same engine.

The ride is so good! Servicing cost however is about 1k++ every service..

hmm. But my mom do prioritize Resale Value.. so passat has a plus point here.

Comparing the K5 and Passat Sport. Not the normal ones.. The sport do have auto fold side mirror (this one should be standard in all cars now).

We use the car mainly for 100% city drive.. maybe go outstation 3-4times a year..


Most importantly, want a car that has a rattle free cabin, no squeak squeak noise. etc etc...

no thanks. I have an uncle who works in senior management of "T" brand car.. His recommendation? Passat.

Also something funny I heard just now at the showroom, I think there's this guy who is considering the Jetta and the Ford Focus, heard the girl SA saying, Ford Focus no resale value la! VW Resale is high..

How to activate the rain sensing auto wipers? I tried to read the manual, but still couldnt figure out how... There is flick wipe, LOW,HIGH, Interval Wipe and OFF..

The side mirrors, when reversing, it lowers down to show the kerb, but then after driving straight, even above 50km/h, the mirror wont return to its original position, need to always re adjust. hmm..?

Hmm, it only return to normal position when the engine is shut off, after turning on the engine, it automatically shows to the kerb... Even above 50km/h.. Haiyahh time to read the manuals again..

How does the hill hold works?

Just now I was uphill, Auto Hold was ON, and it worked, but when the accelerator is pressed, the car rolled backwards lah..
