agree with u but jetta lack of latest technology like led daytime running light and start/stop button....
how about 1.4tsi engine performance and comfort?
*
Herm.. Led Daytime Running Light is nothing "latest technology"... TSI and DSG are latest technology..
VW's "latest technology" is always what under the "skin" than its outer looks wink.gif

yes, lack of technology. not even leather seat.
jetta performance? need to say more? see golf tsi ?  blush.gif

1.4 twinscroll + DSG gearbox. regular car wont even match it. Dont mention more that compare to K5
Jetta's 1.4 is twincharged rather than twinscroll... twinscroll is the one you find in Pug308T, 408T and 508 Prince Engine with single turbo.. wink.gif

U sure that MG has 320d engine ?
Also the e90 320d cant be 80k, current owners love their ride so its hard to see they selling. And that should make the price goes up

Passat Sport now officially sold by VW.

In addition to the standard features found on the Passat, the extra stuff you now get are:

• 8Jx18'' Kansas alloy wheels framed by 235/40 R18
• 12-way electrically adjustable front seats with memory function
• Electric tilt and slide sunroof
• Electrically foldable side mirrors with auto-dimming function on driver's side
• Sports suspension

RM189,888.00 excluding insurance.

That's a cool 25k extra at least including insurance over the "CKD" unit. I kind of feel sorry for those people who paid for the earlier batches of CBU versions though sad.gif

So with insurance the Passat Sport would cost RM 197K? Is this CBU?

More money to add to this eh:

If there's one thing that's damn impressive about the Passat, it's definitely the boot space, 565L of it in fact. Just 5L short of the 570L on a BMW X6. Is it a good car? That depends on what your definition of good is... it certainly is good enough although far from perfect.

Im not really sure about the accuracy of those boot space figures. I just found out that on the brochures, the Forte supposedly has a bigger boot than the K5 but in reality the K5 boot is really huge. I even find it bigger than the Passat. The Passat boot is deeper but the K5 is wider. Not sure if you feel the same? Have u seen the K5 boot? hmm.gif

The Passat boot is both deep and wide and square. Particularly deep in fact.

I've seen the K5 boot, it's wide but not as square nor as deep.

The only way to know how it compares is unless we do some real world load test

But on paper, it's 565L vs 435L of boot space. The Passat definitely has a huge upper hand here in this respect

Quick question for Golf GTI owners out there. Got a 2011 Golf here and wondering if anyone has any issues with brake modulation.

Also I seem to have a problem with the fuel indicator being a bit iffy.

Just got my gti SE last week. So far no issues yet.
