i m trying to install modded gmaps.

i uninstalled the maps using titanium backup and street view.
then while i try to reinstall, it says Not able to install

today,i just go to lowyat plaza to buy s3 extended battery kit..i saw have samsung galaxy s3 at the main stage..i go ask there,the promoter said the s3 extended battery kit price rm199 for battery and stand/charger..i ask,not rm159?he said if rm159 just the stand/charger..haha..i go to samsung branch near there,rm159 battery and stand/charger..haha..i think can get lower price at the promotion,but the promoter give gila pnye harga..hahaha

Nope. It does show recent apps that's for sure. But if one of your running apps are in the list, swiping it off does close the app

Actually, it really isn't an ICS problem per se, but something that's affecting S3s. There are people using ICS who are not affected with this issue (i.e. Note users running ICS ROMs are able to move apps without issues). RedDevil, how did you move it - using directory bind? CM9?

Just a recap, applications like Apps2SD and the like doesn't work for S3, because although the function is there, it will complain about how the SD is emulated and a move is not possible. Apps like Elixir2 for instance will give you the impression that App move to SD worked, but if you check you'll realize that it in fact didn't.

I would rather not use directory bind, because that really isn't a solution. I'm hoping for it to work as it is intended.

The reason this is a problem is because some of my apps, like Comixology, TED, Audible, Evernote, CamCard all store data within the internal SD, and the data from these apps are humongous. And I'm not even talking about games. So having the option to move is actually a very important function, and the reason I bought the S3 in the first place over the One X - the option to have external SD.

@DA: Just used WD with a stock unrooted SGS2G, no issues.

To understand why ExSD is so fucuked up in the SGS3, you MUST understand that Google themselves don't like it.

See that our internal device storage and internal SD is now unified right? The ExSD is simply an afterthought, go google more on why the Galaxy Nexus lacks external storage and you'll see why.

Hence, the 32/64GB SGS3 is actually the way to go for less issues, with the ExSD used exclusively for media ONLY. And DEVS need to update their apps to mirror this, and Gameloft/EA is clearly too busy raking in money to conform to new OS standards.

This is also why we don't have UMS mode built in any more.

Not that I agree with all this, but it must be said that unified storage does have certain advantages from a data reliability point of view.

Been using vanam since v1.5 till now v1.8 no such problem of unable to send sms. Might be your service provider problem.
does the 1A and 2A difference really cause problem? bcuz i m using my galaxy tab charger (2A) for some occasionally fast charge.

I googled it... and the consensus seems to be no damage possible as the handphone only draws what it needs irregardless of 2A or 1A. I will defer to electrical engineers or other experts to debate/advise further.
But to me it makes sense to just buy what you need. 500mAh or 1A or 2A (btw it seems most 2.1A will only provide 1A for each port if you use both ports at once; which is why you see some expensive car chargers advertising itself as 10W...)
