^touchpal FOC?
*
touchpal is legit foc, and also work like swype, swiping text, but improved on it to work better, example, in swype to enter number we need to hold one letter to wait number appear, in touchpal, just swipe up and key in number auto

QUOTE(duke garland @ Jul 19 2012, 04:51 PM)
I'm a new Android user, so it did take a lot of reading to understand the file structure and the relationship between internal RAM, internal SD and external SD, and why it has evolved the way it did. But from a strictly new user's perspective, the fact that I had to find out all these things is a little unnerving, not to mention unfriendly.

All of that doesn't matter. The most important point is this: S3 is only one of few devices with ICS that doesn't support moving of apps to SD in the standard way because of this extSD thing. Other ICS devices with external SDs *do not* have this problem!
*
IMO, this is a good thing, cause from internal storage, things work better and more responsive, i only use extSD fro media storage and backups, still i depend on internal sd for apps, besides, why the heck are you so determined to fill the storage up, and then nag not enough space, just organize yourself and remove things u know you dont use, and not go "hey look, i have 16gb of junk app, and i want more~" organize yourself and the phone

yup, stock dialer keypad and stock rom. if you are running CM or AOKP, then it not working, also as I read it seems is store at the kernel, so use stock kernel as well.

After flashing camera firmware to latest just use custom rom.
*
i never flashed any cam firmware, so i think no difference there, and dunno how flash cam firmware also

relax la bro/sis. ur post here is what? BS/show off/unwanted ads/post that actually help? no point labelling the worth of a post. it's a forum, sharing and more sharing. cant expect much for a topic that moves so fast, different people will keep on repeat on the same question. u want good tips? go for xda forum or ipmart forum or search for youtube tutorials videos. if there is a need for someone to know something, others who knows will/might answer.
yes, battery drain and maybe lagginess. the effects is worst if u got alot of auto run apps like whatsapp/facebook/line/twitter/active widgets. as each time u kill them they will auto run, and when u kill them all together, they will also run at the same time.
yes normal. S3 android OS used up a part of that 16gb internal storage.

i think he took this as a dedicated s3 technical support thread, can ignore him

i think he has a point there. it's rude to say ignore him based on that.

this is indeed a technical thread, with discussions and support.
*
i prefer only the term discussion, cause technicality wise, we are not much providing technical solutions, more like discussing solutions to a matter, if it was technical thread, we would be speaking of kernel creating, rom modding/ building and such already, which normally rom/kernel devs would do, we casual users, discussion is more adequate

so I didn't wipe anything so far @@

most roms are scripted to do the wipe where it is needed, thats why u see no wipe roms

do you guys have any idea how to control voltages of the gpu, any apps of some sort instead of doing the echo commands?
