back to S3 topic. my fren's S3 drain alot during idle with data on...
checked everything normal, stock rom btw... and her 3G always got no data inflow although there is signal... izit Maxis? or her phone problem?
I suspect her phone boost alot in signal to get 3G, that y drain so fast... any Maxis user here? btw Im in Melaka

I'm a new Android user, so it did take a lot of reading to understand the file structure and the relationship between internal RAM, internal SD and external SD, and why it has evolved the way it did. But from a strictly new user's perspective, the fact that I had to find out all these things is a little unnerving, not to mention unfriendly.

All of that doesn't matter. The most important point is this: S3 is only one of few devices with ICS that doesn't support moving of apps to SD in the standard way because of this extSD thing. Other ICS devices with external SDs *do not* have this problem!

will be looking out for your post since no one seems to care about this. i bought S3 for its photo-taking capabilities and this will be a let down if it's true. anyways something i read up:

yup, stock dialer keypad and stock rom. if you are running CM or AOKP, then it not working, also as I read it seems is store at the kernel, so use stock kernel as well.

After flashing camera firmware to latest just use custom rom.

yes, battery drain and maybe lagginess. the effects is worst if u got alot of auto run apps like whatsapp/facebook/line/twitter/active widgets. as each time u kill them they will auto run, and when u kill them all together, they will also run at the same time.
yes normal. S3 android OS used up a part of that 16gb internal storage.
