weird
i use titanium back up
i back up apps already
i copy the titanium folder in to my pc
when reset factory setting
then i go paste back to same folder
i press restore
but nth appear?
*
Check your TT which folder the backup should located, default should be /mnt/sdcard/TTBackup.
Folder name /location should be the same.
If not, you can try launch titanium for once, then copy everything back again. Launch again.

And, which restore option you selected, I suggest you use restore ALL instead of MISSING... Then select the 1 that you need.

for an earlier error that i got on "damaged SD card"
i can confirm that it was caused by directory bind.
the card was fine on my laptop, i did a backup and formatted the whole card. my phone was able to read my card after that.
then copying back all the stuffs back into the card (including the files that i bound using directory bind) i have a damaged SD card again. i removed the whole "android" folder and my card is fine again.

for those who are using 64gb sd card. do not use directory bind. or end up having a "damaged SD card" and a phone full of apps that can't be opened sad.gif
*
I was too late to realized or even inform you all. Yup, DDirectoryBind cause big issues to 64g cards. The first time is fine, managed to reformat with pc, second times totally damaged. I Have to get it replaced. Waiting and Monday getting new card.

all stock rom released by samsung = odexed rom. all custom roms = deodexed rom.
*
not really, not all custom roms are de-odexed.

there are pro and con about De-Odex the rom. Odexed (normal) rom is much faster compare with De-ODEXed roms.

I tend to move TT backup to extSdCard. Will it detect when I try to restore or backup to the same extSdCard next time instead of using sdcard.

2. How about Clockwork's backup? Will it detect when I restore? I don't want to move from pc back to sdcard next time I want to restore.

in TTB, just change the save location to extSD, then it will detect external only

CWM new version supports flashing from extSD

Yup, saw the option to have new folder for TT, but can't do browsing as normally. Need to move those backup to new folder then do a search.

Thanks.

Added on July 24, 2012, 10:37 amMy first time encountered 30% battery drop last night in 5 hours.

And, question: will WiFi on with WiFi connectivity consume less battery juice than 3g on?
