QUOTE(ngaisteve1 @ Jul 20 2012, 05:29 PM) ya possible with today's closing and vol but still risky to go in now imo. reversal not that easy to play. just stay away from this counter.....this counter belongs to 2012 hall of shame. i know a fellow lose over 100k on this.... Ps: the cybert chart is real beautiful. first time i see stock drop so fast and so long sharp bar later i repost cybert chart for all to enjoy the view... |

(i think) [attachmentid=2957017] and my biggest loser.... we all know la, vincent tan counter.....hold so long... also.....rugi....worst then bond fund.... worse than EFD |

QUOTE(kueyteowlou @ Jul 20 2012, 08:07 PM) percent x Market capitalization = valuethe percent holding table is for investors that hopes epf will increase stakes until epf privattization. the epf holding based on value is another story. it shows the value of epf stake in the company. its like 10% of rm10 is more than 90% of rm1 This post has been edited by john123x: Jul 20 2012, 08:39 PM |

I was hoping one day, the brokers will abolish the minimum brokerage. it made us hard to average down like unit trust.
with min 12 0.42%, we need to buy in blocks of rm 2857 to enjoy a true 0.42% brokerage.... |

QUOTE(river.sand @ Jul 22 2012, 09:52 AM) Why does everybody want to average down why i need to average down?If you buy a stock, you should pray for its price to go up, even if it means average up. No? see my skpetro also know that i am the stupid fool that buy at rm2.30 after 5 min when it start listed if i average down, my buy price will be lower already... QUOTE(mtsen @ Jul 22 2012, 09:49 AM) DCA concept is the same, your challenge is the 'high cost' of doing so, not the DCA itself. In stocks a small good DCA investment unit is easily somewhere around 8-10k. so 2-3k is considered small already. So do accumulate in mutual fund until you are comfortable with stock's size. Else just use 5-10% of your portfolio in stocks as a 'high risk high return' vehicle without the need to DCA yet. actually, min brokerage, dollar cost averaging and dividend reinvestment is deeply related.if min brokerage is abolished, dividend received can easily be reinvested to enjoy a true 0.42% brokerage, and will improve dollar cost averaging. currently, i must collect 6-7 dividend payments to fit inside the rm2.5k block to enjoy cheap brokerage....
