You can try to ask for no tax (6% gst only) and maybe they will give you. But most of the time time they say "if there is a base, it is a statue". They will ask you to fix it there sometimes.

And if they say its statue, you have to pay 20%. http://tariff.customs.gov.my/ (under search > item description> statue).

Or try to declare it as Toys.

My first statue, they taxed me 30%. Lucky it was a 1/6 scale Bowen. Then I heard alot of people got taxed 20% for 1/4 XM Studios' statue from Singapore. They were charged from RM600-RM800. I managed to get the 6% gst for my last purchase of XM Thor, but I heard some people are not so lucky. It really depends who is at the counter at that time as they will determine what the item is.
