Since the beginning of June my friend brought me to Robotica toy at Amcorp mall, I straight away fell in love with Sideshow collectibles statues and figures. So far my collection :

Thanks man.... Haha ....actually I'm on the edge of bankruptcy, all those statues collected within few weeks time. But all in good price and condition, for instant, LSB Ironman Mark VI I bought it for 1.2K, Poison Ivy for 1K, Babydoll for 1.05K.....

Btw, I have two statues (same packaging weight more than 10KG) ordered from Speculative Fiction (US) now held hostage by custom, I declared as toys and now they asked for Original Invoice which I think Speculative Fiction didn't provide...if any of your guys had deal with this kind of situation before, any ideas or advice that I won't ending up paying expensive duty? Thanks....

No. Some from Hobby Search, some from Shioktoys and some from publika.
Babydoll PFS was an offer from the shop owner own collection,that's what he told me.... sealed and brand new

Haha...sometimes when dealing with custom officer, depends on luck also. Like few weeks past when I went to KLIA pos Malaysia to get my SS Batman PFS, kena duty around RM650+....after asking nicely with the male officer, he willing to reduce to RM250. No under table money require....

I got it 1K from Shioktoys, guess it's their last piece on display.

It has been an exciting week...thanks to the previous owner, I got SS Lara Croft "Snow Day" exclusive version added to my collection.



And I got a pretty cool No.5 out of 500.



My shipment also been released by the custom, now safely arrived at my home...

I would say it depends on what SS statues you getting at.

Those already sold out from Sideshow or local shops, and you want it so badly...no choice but to get from oversea.
So far my Black cat PF (fr Philippines), Mythos Darth Maul (fr S'pore) , Shaak Ti PF (fr Australia) , DC Wonder Woman vs Ares (fr Italy)etc... all no kena duty.
Only HCG Cybercop and Spidy mini bust (fr USA) kena 10% tax when POS Malaysia called and asked about the content, I said "TOYS".

Post using EMS, USPS Priority Mail International.... damn sure it will held by custom and have duty; By FedEx or DHL, less hassle from custom, sometimes don't even have to pay duty**, but require certain luck & alternation on item value

Still, I've to agree with Hiroka San, unless getting ex version, better buy from local shops if statues still on sale.

I've secure my XM Magneto by paying deposit to Lil Monsters yesterday, but no guarantee on the silver coin...

Lil Monster shop was newly opened few months back at Jaya shopping centre, the owner name is Raz, pretty friendly guy. B4 that, operated only throught website.

Sure....once I 've relocating my entire Blu-ray and DVDs collection to a new place, I'll put them on display.

For now, they going to be like this for awhile...

Received this yesterday from S'pore....Mc Farlane Halo 4 master chief resin statue. The paint job a bit suck though...especially the base, overall nicely sculpted with awesome details, love it!!!
