Hi all, I just received update that my Superman PF EXC will be shipping soon. Fedex will usually handle the custom clearing. Has anyone here experienced of being charged of high tax (ex. 30%) initially then ask Fedex to re-assess again using the 10% tax for toys? Or any tip you can share in dealing with customs?

I've received my Supes Ex with 10% tax. Customs queried on what is the item and declared as 'figure'

Damn, I'm not really feeling her body, it's too thin and out of proportion. And her base could have been better as well, it's very uninspired. sad.gif

It's a big letdown for me, my expectations were really high for this. After previous failed attempts at Emma, I thought this would be the one. It's still better than the previous ones by some margin, but it's not exactly 'WOW, INSTANT PO'-worthy. Now comes the dilemma of whether to PO. unsure.gif

Nobody seems to be able to get Emma just right. And Sideshow had two previous shots at it. It's all the more disappointing considering the awesome work they put into their other figures like Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy. shakehead.gif

I then hoped that XM Studios' Emma would be better only to find out it's been pushed back to who knows when.

A dream to be in SDCC .... so much to see and do

Unsure with batgirl, power girl and emma now.... certain angles look nice tho.

Quite a few reveals looking nice eg. capt america movie pf, iron man mark 2, thor movie pf, boba fett pf, godzilla. Not interested in court of death except queen of darkness

Disappointed with PCS display this year ... no streetfighter pf reveals. sad.gif

Just bought my first sideshow Collectable 1/4 statue. Bought it from Dubai Mall at the Hollywood collection corner shop near the Cinema area.- It's on display at their shelf.

I requested the shop to put aside for me as I want to do some sight seeing around Dubai mall.

Thanks. Dubai is OK with figurines . They sell Japanese anime sexy manga etc... you'll be surprise the number of their customers are from Saudi Arabia.

I bring it in into Qatar. The airport customs ask me to show it what is it- They open the box and I help them cracked open the seals etc. They see the figure and ask me to put it back & they seal it with their tape.
