Hi guys, I'm new here...
Since the beginning of June my friend brought me to Robotica toy at Amcorp mall, I straight away fell in love with Sideshow collectibles statues and figures. So far my collection :

1/6 DC catwoman
1/6 SW Clone Commander Wolffe
1/6 SW Clone Trooper 501st
LSB Ironman Mark VI
Batman PFS
Emma frost bust
Comiquette Mary Jane
GI Goe classic Baroness
Green Lantern PFS
Poison Ivy PFS
Sucker punch Babydoll PFS
XM studio Cap. America
HCG Cybercop
HCG Heavy Metal:Guardian Girl

If any of your guys run out of space (haha... Seem to me a common problem for all the collector) and would like to sell off their collections (especially Sideshow Statue), please PM me, appreciate it, thank you

Robotica opened a few months in Amcorp already. got nice statues on display there smile.gif
There's another toyshop just opened last month, Secret Base Toys or something like that. Some items are pricey, but could be rare.

Its good more statue shops are popping up, hope they bring in more variety brands aside from sideshow eg weta, gentle giant, ARH, bowen, etc

Publika seems to be the new potential as well, they had Sunday flea markets in comfortable environment previously, hope it becomes weekly thing.

Thanks man.... Haha ....actually I'm on the edge of bankruptcy, all those statues collected within few weeks time. But all in good price and condition, for instant, LSB Ironman Mark VI I bought it for 1.2K, Poison Ivy for 1K, Babydoll for 1.05K.....

Btw, I have two statues (same packaging weight more than 10KG) ordered from Speculative Fiction (US) now held hostage by custom, I declared as toys and now they asked for Original Invoice which I think Speculative Fiction didn't provide...if any of your guys had deal with this kind of situation before, any ideas or advice that I won't ending up paying expensive duty? Thanks....

Regarding kastam, print the invoice from online website and show them. If they don't believe, they will ask to show the website in kastam office. Declare as toys is better than statue, as toys duty is less than statue.

Can try to bargain with officer in charge.

There is certain officer that can take under table $ also but he works on certain weekday only, so its not convenient to meet brows.gif

Btw, babydoll is very cheap deal you got there thumbup.gif

order from BBTS, how was the shipping? i always got quoted around 30-40 usd shipping just for a single item. i guess if multiple items will be better as the shipping is shared, rite?

on the issue of tax, am i right to say toys 10% tax, and statues 30% tax? or it varies? never had statues delivered from overseas yet....might try to get exclusives from Sideshow if a good one comes along.

Just wondering what are you guys' opinions on Koto's Artfx+ Star Wars? Planning to get some. Tempted by the display options.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

If publika has weekly statue flea market, i will go. Don't really like amcorp environment and parking not cheap sweat.gif

Never use undertable before, but if you plead with the counter staff (males), maybe they will recommend the special officer to you who sits behind in office. The officers behind in office are the ones who call the shots and calculates overall. The counter fellas are just middle man. BBTS quotes shipping similar to anyone from USA eg ebay, and shipping is not cheap due to weight and parcel dimensions

1/6 scale star wars is nice and consistent with other brands/manufacturers. Anything smaller eg 1/8 or 1/10 is not my liking blush.gif

Koto ArtFX+ statues are 1/10 scale. they have good details, and it's certainly a cheaper option compared to the 1/6 scale figures out there if u dun wanna spend too much on figures. Not bad in terms of range of characters, as they cover a lot of the main figures. My favourite is the Darth Maul and General Grievous.

yeah, i would go Publika as well if they have the weekly flea market thing. and can lepak with Big Bang Toyz too biggrin.gif the parking at Amcorp is much more bearable parking inside, just dun park at the open area. Exorbitant to say the least sweat.gif

thanks for the feedback on the customs. so far my most expensive overseas purchase is around RM850, and luckily didn't get stuck at customs.
