This is a very difficult poll to answer.
Aguero or Demba Ba?
Aguero pipped him because his last minute goal gave City the PL title. Thats worth more (not only prized money but also other commercial gains that are intangible) than his transfer fee to City.
Just imagine what United gains would have been if they have acquire their 20th. title?
Yes that's how valuable Aguero was to City and it's fans.
Added on July 17, 2012, 7:59 amWhat about the drama or bollywood ending generate by his last minute goal? Enhancing the PL as 'the greatest show on earth'
An ending that sent the 'ratings' soaring and a £3 Billion (an increase of over 70% gain from the previous contract) broacast rights for the PL.

Look at all my stars!!
|
Has to be Demba Ba for me. When Newcastle lost Andy Carroll, everyone was wondering where the goals would come from. That being said, I think West Ham deserve credit for finding him.

I watch. It's the only way you can rate a player's football IQ when he's off the ball. What's your opinion on the subject matter then?

QUOTE(hmalaya @ Jul 16 2012, 02:17 PM) Juan Mata (M34-G6) at 23.5m not too outstanding though.. because he is a midfielder. why compare midfielder and striker in terms of goalscoring?
