advan db 215/45 R17 4pcs each RM485, JB price.
clocked 1K KM, not sure worth the price since its still pretty noisy on bolehland road surface.

maybe have to go find a same car with different tyre to know the different.

can provide a review with other tires? (previous tires? surely you didnt just drive your car straight out the factory with advan db tires? lol)

other tyre? heres totally unprofessional tyre review below:

1. 1997 wirah 1.5 MT + silverstone (forgot model) on original R13 wheel.
mileage: cannot remember, from new wear until somwhere near 'pimple' in tyre tread
noisy, grip sux. easily brake lock, thank god with MT i can engine brake. normal cornering heard a little faint tyre screeching noise, dont care, think is normal, remain same driving style. until 1 day fly over divider onto opposite road during wet cornering. then i reckon: nobody drive until tyre screeching on daily basis, and silerstone sux. next>

2.1997 wirah 1.5 MT + michellin xm1 on original R13 wheel.
mileage: cannot remember, from new wear until maybe 50%, still far from 'pimple' in tyre tread.
after nearly go meet the creator, swap tyre immediately. wana change ps2 (that time no ps3), but not available on R13. still noisy but lesser (its a 10+ yr car). grip is much better than silverstone, i can push much further into corner before i hear tyre screeching. after some time to familiar how far i can push the until tyre screech, i always corner at speed slightly lower than that. wet or dry, better than silver-rubish-stone, more aggressive cornering and braking, without hearing a tyre screetching. next>

3. forteh 1.6 + silver stone atlantis 214/45 R17
mileage: apprx 200km
the moment i see the silverstone again, the only thing come out of my mind is: ditch that rubbish.
not noisy (new car lei), grip unknown, because seeing the brand i drive like snail. next>

4. forteh 1.6 + yokohama advan db v551 2145/45 R17
mileage: apprx 1k~2k km
torn between assy2 and advan db, end choose advan db because worried 215/45 will be noisy. plan of change at the day i got my car, too bad JB nobody carry this model. after search more than dozen of shops, finally a shop willing to order for me, take 1 week to deliver. (drive like snail, going nowhere in that week with silverstone.) noise, not noisy (still a new car lei) but road noise still significant unlike online claim. grip, may not be great but at least as good as xm1, i can push forteh as aggressive as my ol-luvly-wirah without hearing any tyre screeching noise or any ESC light on. some hard braking (those mofo cut in without signal then suddenly emergency brake) without trigger ABS even once. will not try push further to find out when the tyre will screech, as this car is much heavy than wirah, weight shift during cornering trigger my memory tell me to stop it.
silent?: online research review/user comment sound like this tyre is awesomely silent maybe make me anticipate too much. my experience tell me, is not really that silent like online mentioned, road noise still significant on bolehland. currently people around me all drive a car with couple of years old, my car is couple of months old, compare with them of cause my car are much silent than them, hence invalid comparison. there is no new car around me for me to compare, and worse, most (if not all) my fren luv sushi hate kimchi sad.gif , which mean i cant find any months old forteh with original silverstone tyre to compare. so can't really comment on how silent it is.

-end of long whine

...get rid of it, burn it if possible just to make sure nobody buys it and kills themselves...
