I recently saw an advertisement regarding "The Rack Workout station" from GroupOn Malaysia.

I just want to ask the effectiveness of this product. I am planning to do some resistance training without investing in a GYM membership.

I am currently 160cm, weight hovers between 65kg-68kg. Basically a person who is not fat and also not slim. My aim is to just to be fitter and more lean, not aiming for any bulky muscle.

Please tell me your thoughts about this product and its effectiveness. Would you buy it for your own usage at home or just use other substitutes which is already available in every home ?

Thanks in advance

Below are some advert videos for you to refer or just Youtube it for some other private review videos.

The best you can do with this is calisthenics, which you can already do without this equipment. You need RESISTANCE for resistance training, this clearly doesn't provide that.

Want to be fitter and more lean ? Do sprints, chin ups, push ups, dips. Done.

Don't advice it.

If you watched the advertisement you will see that the stuff those guys are doing is not so easy for beginners especially if you rarely exercise.

Pushups are easy but dips are not. And lifting the whole equipment over your head? Definitely not for beginners since you don't have a light weight to train.

If you don't want to shell out for gym membership, easy. Use your local "padang" exercise equipment, buy a set of gymnastic rings (very useful) and/or TRX.

And then go visit a site like beastskills.com.

Agree with other forumers here. Will only purchase if its dirt cheap, to use as dips station and abs roller.
