QUOTE(phobian @ Aug 22 2012, 11:26 PM) Not really. I started late anyway. But I am seeing more younger, gooder looking and leaner tummy folks able to afford >60k bikes as their toys. haha sorry late reply working = ="Added on August 22, 2012, 11:28 pm What superbike sound are you referring to anyway? Something specific like....? i always and love the superbike aura look my usage is like weekend ride ,go up genting and cameron ( love hill roads) sometimes jam up badly during holidays still wont stop me from heading down north or south for holidays and sometimes short distance go shopping malls easier find parking. coz i tested my friends er6f during stock and after modifying Yoshimura exhaust , still feel the sound is missing something not as good as those superbike deep , evil bass This post has been edited by ELM0: Aug 23 2012, 07:28 PM |

QUOTE(phobian @ Aug 23 2012, 09:49 PM) R1 exhaust note, I understand. But R6 & ZX6 - this got me thinking. The best sounding ZX6r I have heard is the one with Arrow race tech full system. Again, the note could only be music to my ears beyond 8k RPM. A more rempit sounding supersports 600 bike for me is still the CBR600. hmm honda cbr600 huhu ,not a bad choice No pun intended, but I may look at it as pizza - but roti prata to you. Same goes the other way. You can still get personal loan within your limit for 6% interest per annum - this depends on your financing creditability from your bank. everyone have their own cup of tea hehe ,what about z750 ?? if no choice then need go with er6n cant afford zx6r with 10%-12% interest kills me any idea how does shops provide installment/ loan and interest how high?? |

you guys know any place that rent out place to store bikes ?? around mid valley to sunway area ??
i cant find any where to keep my bike if i buy it T_T , parents will screw the crap out of me and force me sell it. but renting a place just for weekend bike quite costly as well haihzzz calculated if get a new zx6r -10 with 0.58% interest and 7 years loan worth it ??? see mudah.my selling some 58k but is it still worth getting bike insurance?? but between zx6r and z750 which more practical ?? zx6r - superbike look damn cool / but body always in speeding position( back pain) z750 - less 2 piston = less cool sound , and performance , but riding position nice / but less attractive haha for me i also go towards zx6r as well as my friends opinion and gf z750 / er6n - more like a bad boy urban bike haha feels so so in bad dilemma .... haih This post has been edited by ELM0: Aug 24 2012, 04:37 PM |

QUOTE(phobian @ Sep 3 2012, 12:43 PM) I learn through the hard way and observe closely what is happening around me. Ask alkt if he would dare to ride without his gears. We have seen many friends whom got into a crash without proper gears and it is just not worth it. If I am lazy to gear up, I will just use the car then. wow what bikes are this??? z1000 ???I have a mini closet packed with riding gears and lets not get to how much I have spent. Not about bragging rights, but I have different priorities and viewpoint in life that I would want to mitigate as much risk as possible. My list: 1. Helmets - Arai RX7RR5, Shoei Z6 & KBC Force RR. Clear & smoke/tinted for all 3. 2. Jackets - Fake Dainese Air2Tex, RS Taichi RSJ827 Racer & RS Taichi RSJ825 GMX Motion (crashed tested & still usable). Furygan cordura (unusable due to low speed crash) 3. Gloves - Fake RS Taichi GP WRX (leather), RS Taichi NXT-051 (leather), RS Taichi Velocity (leather & mesh) & Komine mesh glove 4. Boots - Sidi ST & Forma Boulevard 5. Pants - Kushitani mesh, RS Taichi RSY817 leather & riding jeans with hip, knee and kevlar stichings 6. Suit - Spidi Track Wind pro 7. Protectors - RS Taichi TRV033 (chest) & Knox Contour Back protector Not forgetting inner wears, got mix and variation of here and there. I tend to sweat a lot and this helps a lot to regulate body temperature, feel good and risk of smelling like a stench of a sweaty pig. If you folks plan to get similar gears as to what I have, drop me a PM and I would be more than happy to share my personal thoughts and opinions. ![]() Taken last year October just couple of KMs away from Sadao border, on our way to Phuket. ![]() Left at 6.00am (if I recall correctly), reached Phuket at 9.30pm (MY time). 1000KMs and time to hit Tora-Tora. Priceless! |
