ahaks.. just found this topic..

currently using coolver master notepal U2..
very impressive cooler, and what i like most, u can reposition the fan anywhere u like..

and to upgrade it, i add with Kaku (formally known as Seada) 240 AV fan on the cooler.. result? very satisfied!

will upload the pics later..huhu

adding another fan.. originally got 2 x 5V fan, powered by USB.. then i add 1 more fan..

for the 12V fan, i modified it, connect the fan with AC power adapter.. currently i add this fan to my router, as it on 24hr non stop, easy to get hot.. wink.gif

Both got pro and cons

For me I go for angled since the laptop height is a problem for me.

both can.. but i prefer tilt design.. before u built the pad, make sure u already study the air flow of your laptop's cooler.. different laptop have different design of air flow.. some got exhaust at side, some on the back.. most important things is the air flow design, not how strong the fan blow air.. if your air flow design cun, then ordinary 12V fan is enough..huhu..

wahhh so EXP ..... I think I get mine at RM15 >.<

Now thinking of modifying my current cooler .....

Cooler Master X1 base
Fan Long Life Cooler Master Fan 2000 rpm at 12V [Blue]

This gonna be EXP to modify the current setup XD
I wan to ask Is it better to blow the air to the base or suck the air out ....
Since the X1 factory design are supposed to blow the air upward .......
icon_rolleyes.gif
My lappy running at 24/7 most of the time ..... need it to be more cooler

Too true XD

Last month the fan was positioned to blow upward .... 2000rpm everyday
1 week the pad already showing visible bunny dust >.< scared all my laptop hole will be filled with dust.

Now it is positioned to suck the air downward at 2000rpm ...... the tradeoff is very obvious my keypad seem warm at 45-50 C last time it was cool enough ....... add more fan or increase the blow out hole for the fan
