Car: VIVA 14" 165/55/R14. This is just my little opinion and experience of using Yokohama A-Drive, Continental CC5 and MAXXIS MA-E1. 4 years ago i was using Yokohama A-Drive, and it was RM12x in Klang. and quite long lasting, use till 2012 march I decide to change to continental CC5, but it was really disappointed me. drive 100km/h and above vibrate like hell, went to 5, 6 tyre shop, did more then 10 times balancing (include on wheel balancing) and conclusion is the tyre got problem (some workshop man told me) other than that, when i went into some sharp conner, it like no grip at all, no choice but slow down... it coat me rm 160 in kL, so last week I decide to change it, i was looking for yokohama AD 07, but unlucky, only left three pcs. so the tyre shopp boss recommend me to use MAXXIS MA-E1, and it is RM140. This was reasonable price and really satisfy me, like going into some sharp conner , is MORE MORE MORE better than CC5, i know u guys may say CC5 is comfortable not for going fast and all, again, this is just my opinion. and no vibrate anymore, 150km/h also very stable. thanks for reading

Added on July 16, 2012, 11:18 amQUOTE(jakal sombong @ Jul 16 2012, 10:45 AM) Continental CC5 pros: good grip , very quiet , comfy cons : tyre not so long lasting around 15k - 20k km on your experience i think defect unit. hmm,, maybe u r right, but the grip during conner i really feel bad compare to the A-drive and MAXXIS This post has been edited by lojeffrey: Jul 16 2012, 11:18 AM

QUOTE(3536837 @ May 17 2013, 09:04 AM) Js share my experience as well as I am viva 850 driver as well xD I do travel alots and drove many car before frm 660cc to 3000cc Wat I can say is viva is a quite good car in term of price and FC My stock viva wif 12" stock rim with the ugly wheel cap plus stock silverstone 155/55/r12 can goes up to max 165km/h , I usually will pump ron97 if I travel frm kl to Ipoh/Penang...wat to say is , frm 0 to 100 ard 10 sec...by frm 100 to 160 will take minutes depend on the road slope.. Bt once I reach 1xx , I dislike to press brake otherwise pickup will really take time and when I flash high beam and overtake car , sense of accomplishment will full fill me xD Last month I frm stock rim changed to 14 sport rim + Goodyear duraplus 165/55/r14 I felt that car is no longer stable n shaking than my 12" stock rims T.T....and the grip also abit loose , is it the tyre problem or rim size problem or absorber/spring problem?... And also the steering is not hard and solid like before , especially during corner , felt that front wheel will auto turn abit and loose Hi , for the steering is not hard enought, i guess u talking about cornering right? because i think alloy rim is lighter than ur steel 12" rim. and my solution is, to add the Front lower arm bar ( ultra racing, or C-tech ), i personally using C-tech because it is cheaper. i just installed two weeks ago, it make a different. i feel heavier when i go sharp cornering speed @ 80km ~100 km.
