my iPad 2 warranty going to expired soon, wondering whether can we extend the warranty?

If yes, how?

Have to physically visit Mac Studio and provide show them my iPad 2?

It can be purchased so long as the existing warranty is still active and purchase can be made either through the store or online.

#1: buy applecare protection plan (ACPP)
#2: activate the ACPP online by entering your ipad's serial number
#3: your ipad is now fully warrantied for another 2 years. Can be verified online

it seems that purchase via internet required additional RM30 for shipping =.=
Which I don't need it

Well, the option to purchase it online is available but as brought up by fellow forumer, Ricky300, there is a RM300 delivery charges involved. On the other hand, leave the iPad at home but take note of the Serial Number as well as the date of purchase. Go to the nearest store and buy it from them. If they insist on registering it for you, just provide the 2 information or you can always tell them that it is a gift for someone else.

Just do a restore when you want to claim warranty.

oic, but just now i go imac there, they request us bring ipad for checking b4 extend warranty, even the ipad already restore back, they also can detect the ipad already jb, make me hard to get warranty... haiz

Perhaps the staff wishes to inspect if the iPad suffered any cosmetic damage since the warranty does not cover that and if there is/are cosmetic damage(s) on your iPad, it would be a waste of money.

I was always under the impression that once the iPad is restored; there will be no traces of jailbroken activity for detection, since the iPad is now refreshed and new.
