I've been cheated by this seller in mudah.my on 13/7/12

He claims that he is selling used 3 months Samsung Galaxy Note for RM1000 to me. However he is not at Seremban to cod as what he has advertised. He claimed currently at Lumut, Perak. So I told him to pos, however I will only bank in 10% which is RM100 to him first. The balance will be paid upon receiving the item. At first he don't want. He wants at least half which is RM500. However after some discussion in sms and he agreed and want to send the item after I've banked in. However he delayed sending the phone saying will send by tomorrow because it's late and jam now. The next day morning, he sms and said got someone wanna pay and buy the phone from him now and offered to refund my RM100. After replying him, he said ask me to bank him another RM400 so he will send to me now. All of sudden I was like been hypnotized and bank in the money as per requested. He then sms me the Skynet tracking number which is invalid when I checked online. At first I didn't notice any suspicios as those logistic always updated their system late. This morning I tried check again and it was still invalid. I then called to Skynet Sitiawan, Perak and they told me this tracking number don't exist. Then I tried to call him several times and SMS but no reply till now. I believe I've been Scammed of RM500! Please help to spread this so this guy can't do the same to other's. I believes he is an middle eastern national as he can't understand Malay language during call with me. Thank you.

There is a way. However it's only used to check for voting registration. It will show the full name of the person, date of birth and gender

I've already reported to mudah dispute & also email to mcc@rmp.gov.my

I'm sharing this as I hope lowyat former won't fall into this scam.

Lost is lost. I didn't think of recovering my money.

Come on... there is no seller will sent the item 1st without full payment... if they accept, then need to think 100 times before proceed.
