Hi, I having this problem. My modem stated IP Address (streamyx public ip) is 10.72.188.108. But when I browse thru web like www.whatismyip.com its give me 175.140.88.160. Which suppose both (Modem and web) should have SAME IP Address. This mean from outside ppl see me as 175.140.x.x. But my dyndns.org update their server base on my Dlink modem ip which is 10.72.x.x. Beside dyndns, port forwarding also having plbm. I'm using dyndns for public remote access.

Surprised since when Streamyx implemented private IP 10.72.188.108 is private ip You need to request to switch to public ip

QUOTE(dannychen @ Mar 21 2017, 07:49 PM) surprisingly my streamyx 8mbps package also having 10.75. ip address today. Will TM still give Streamyx users a public ip if they use a reason such as needing it for CCTV?

Wait, is this the main reason why my PS4 stuck to NAT type 3 these past few days?

QUOTE(Sairenji @ Mar 25 2017, 10:49 AM) Wait, is this the main reason why my PS4 stuck to NAT type 3 these past few days? Yeah, if you're on a private IP then your PS4 will be limited to NAT type 3. Due to 2 main reasons: no port forwarding possible and double NAT. This post has been edited by soonwai: Mar 27 2017, 10:15 PM
