The burnt smell is really smelly. Smells like burnt engine oil. The kind you smell on an old datsun with blue smoke.

totally agree with USELESS COSE.  I sent my car there twice and each time spent more than 4 days... My car is still jerking, not light jerking, it is obvious when car is slowing down.  Every day stuck in the jam, it is paintful... The ESC light is still on and didn't go off, alignment is still problem, wind noise is still there.....

 

Fully is more expensive than semi by a lot....

how to know ECU been reset

behind what screw loosen? was it the gluk sound after a short distance drive?

Finally got your car huh...7 days, mine one more than 10 days 
They even charged me for the alignment tuning, still a bit run after tuned 

I complained to ICare regarding the damages on my preve due to poor workmanship during my car admission at SC.
2 damages found:
- crack line on wind screen
- a scratch on paint

Being for a week already, they keep playing "Tai Chi"...said already reported my case to service team & waiting for approval blah blah blah.
Then, I found out today from service team that there is no report being made about my case. 
I called back to ICare & made noise, then i managed to talk to another guy who is supervisor, the guy handling my case on leave AGAIN  .
I told them tomorrow i will go down to SC & ask the service team & ICare ppl to inspect my preve; and give me a exact date when I can go back to fix those damages.

yea, very disappointed la...you din ask for relief car from ICare?

Just collect my preve for OWV change at 4.00pm, send yesterday morning at 9.30am. Damm fast n was very surprise, but they used back the engine oil. I just been thinking why they do it so fast for me, firstly when i got a relief car from the service manager, one of the SE ask me i am the service manager good friend becos his service manager never lend his car to anybody before n even the mechanic ask me the same question. You rapat dengan saya punya manager ka. I just answer biasa  saja. In fact the SE initially told me will take me 3-4 days.    

just collected my silver cfe yesterday night. Drove back to seremban, quite a plesant ride I would say. Engine was a little loud to what I expected. I thought cfe versions are supposed to be sound proof?

by the way guys those of you who is using the yes huddle, did any of u buy the valuepacks or sign up for the postpaid plan? the 3.5gb pack cost 68 which means i have to top up 8 bucks everymonth just wondering whether it's worth it or better off using it without any plans.

I just stick to the existing RM60. Using it now at the office because office internet quota is only 100mb 

Owners, may I know if the mechanics at the SC (apart from COSE) where you sent your cars to,

- did they use any seat cover when servicing your car?
- did they leave greasy stains in your car i.e. greasy steering wheel, gear knob, door handles etc.

Mr Choong must be smiling from ear to ear... business is really good.

I sent mine to COSE before on a Friday, not for the usual service but for the following:
- wind noise at both C-pillars
- wind noise at FR A-pillar (well that's what i thought at that time until someone in the forum recently pointed out that the whistling noise will stop when you turn off the A/C circulation function)
- alignment
- and some other matters

And I only managed to get my car back the following Monday (and only the the wind noise at RL C-pillar is solved)

FYI, Saturday is for standard servicing only, not for troubleshooting.

if u notice preve and other car(even a MyVi) preve have bigger gap in between door to door with others. and i have said it many times... use big D all the way.. forget about the small D...

i think that where ya problem are...

why u listen to the seller and not someone who done it before? they properly never get to touch a preve before or sometimes maybe they anti proton. but just because they wanna do ya business and they have excess stocks of small D. so they want u to get more small D from them... haih

small D is only good enough for bonnet or boot... for all 4 doors..please use big D and P. and i am not consultant la.. i just being someone who do it first and passing down my experience back to who want to do it...
