i wonder if all preve owner having problems yet to be solved, we should all go to proton hq and park our car there and make noise.

Yeah. But its a lil annoying that after moving past 5km/h thatbit will unfold itself. Why cant it unfold when we start the car?

I mean when u lock the car the mirros will autofold. And everytime you get out a parking spot u have to unfold manually or drive till the speed reach 5km/h for it to unfold.

Thats why im wondering if the mirror can be set to unfold when we start the car.

hi guys, sorry to hear on some problems that u guys have to endure, hopefully it will be solved asap.

Reading previously some discussion on tyres. Imho, if u look for tyre replacements, want to change to a better want, if money no object, look up those tyres that get rating traction double A, or AA at the sidewall.

It means that the tyre will give better wet traction compare to traction rating A, B or C. Normally, many tyres are rated A n B. A are better than B, but AA is the best.

Dry traction not much differ, unless u r driving n taking corners beyond speed limit or beyond standard traction.

Just share some info. Hopefully this help u guys when want to replace tyres or upcoming future changes.

If during cold start, suddenly press on thottle, n suddenly the rpm went crazy, i think its related to clutch not been oiling enough. To prevent it, whether to let the cvt warm up for a while or, let it creep naturally first without any throttle input until rpm raise beyond 1k rpm naturally n press the throttle.

For better thottle response, rev beyond 1.6k rpm from idle coz it will be on crawl mode until 1.6krpm to assist parking and crawling when searching for parking, that is when the torque reduction happened.  unless u already on the move n tcu detect or sense that u r not crawling then then it start to free the torque.

If u let it creep naturally, wait until rev raise beyond 1k rpm naturally then apply throttle, u will feel the throttle is almost lag free or instant compare to apply throttle instantly after release the footbrake coz it takes time to the clutch to fully released. Hope this help to better understand the cvt character of punch cvt. Bye.

From what I know, it USED to be AA rating. They've since downgraded it to A. It has adequate grip on the road but once thread at 70% will get very noisy. Its wet performance is only adequate, nothing to shout abt. Tend to makan tyre shoulder. Personally I would used Hankook V12 over this tyre anytime. Of course if price is of concern, it should be one the the cheapest mid-range tyres around nowadays. Better than those GT Radial thingy anytime. V12 used to be almost same price but pull away upward....probably due to its much better performance vs 912 at all aspect.

How long do i need to wait.... can't wait for getting it already.

Are u stuck in a heavy traffic jam?

Hopefully no engine oil leak. I experience the same average FC as you on the first week i received my car end up after 5 day..oil leaking

Also is a test drive car.

No worry about the fc thingy. Your car is still very new. The more mileage you clock in, your fc will drop. It will be more accurate after your 1000km service.

La yor, in city driving, either you scratch your car or others will scratch it for you. Unless you park at home and don't drive at all.

nice!! my first choice colour when booked my preve last month but suddenly the proton guy cant promise if i can get it before raya....straight away changed to e brown...

By theoritically i agree, but by experience otherwise, my fc getting worse

Watch this video that I posted and then you will know how's the OWV problem. So far I've not send it to SC to fix it yet. Maybe will only do it on my 1st Service.
