QUOTE(Dark Adam @ Jul 23 2012, 02:37 PM) i never pump my tyre after i took it from sa on 5june.. hehe.. is it necessarily to pump tyre regularly? even most time u drive alone or with 1 passenger? Added on July 23, 2012, 2:39 pmprobably.. will go outside tyre shop to do reallignment.. i hate do allignment at proton edar sc.. kerja mcm hampeh.. My guess is, your tires are overinflated. QUOTE(ameiruddin @ Jul 23 2012, 02:42 PM) frenz, regarding alignment and balancing, can we do on-wheel-balancing on preve? Can. For CVT, just make sure the engine is running and the gear is in N when doing for the front wheels. For manual, just make sure the gear is neutral.

QUOTE(maverickng @ Jul 24 2012, 04:26 PM) CVT steel chain??our CVT is using normal belting is it?no chain Q&A with Kristoff Q. A lot people(those basher) condemning on rubberband effect for proton CVT compare to those conti CVT(multitronic and etc). Rubberband effect quite obvious for punch CVT.A. Rubberband effect is from CVT's that existed 30 years ago, we use a steel belt so not applicable.

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jul 27 2012, 04:37 PM) Scan and show us the oil chart in your CPS car manual. Do you know what is a car manual? Persona car is a CPS car? now who's the genius? For the sake of argument, Persona's IAFM engine is not much different than Preve IAFM+. same engine block, slightly different head. Performance-wise is comparable. QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jul 27 2012, 04:42 PM) CPS. Campro. What's the difference? Both piece of rubbish. All big sound but no action type of engine going nowhere. Is this your response to me correcting you? QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jul 27 2012, 05:30 PM) Yes, it is indeed a mystery as to why Proton oil chart said 10W40 is OK but not 5W40. Nobody seems to have an answer except for the Einsteins in this forum who seems to know everything and yet never heard of oil chart. Go figure.... Here's your oil chart Oh wait it is different from the oil chart in the manual, which one is right eh? FYI, Proton has changed their oil viscosity requirements in the user manual before for their Campro engine. So all I can say is the Lotus engineers sure can't make up their mind! ANYWAY. After all is said and done, better listen to Proton if you value your warranty. This post has been edited by dares: Jul 27 2012, 05:48 PM

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jul 27 2012, 06:27 PM) My honda chart indicated the same for those oil temp in the manual, I believe opti will say PROTON engineer IS BETTER THAN HONDA for that matter... Nah. After throwing up all that fuss about Lotus engineers knowing better than us, it turns out he actually don't really think quite highly of them. QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jul 27 2012, 04:42 PM) CPS. Campro. QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jul 27 2012, 08:30 PM) Just like the CFE oil chart, this oil chart is a mystery also. How can xW30 and xW40 and xW50 all has the same top ambient temperature of 30 deg C? I am sure some Einsteins here will think they have an answer. The arrow means " and above". THe ends without the arrow is supposedly the limit.

QUOTE(sp3d2 @ Jul 29 2012, 03:06 PM) i own a premium one. for exec auto, i really cannot answer your question. but in my opinion, you would not be a turtle going up a slope. Maybe sligthly faster due to "s" mode Need otai to answer your question. but what i can see is, it would be slower than current auto persona when climbing hill. you can check at proton edar website. persona torque over weight is 148/1195 = 0.124 while exec preve is 150/1325 = 0.113. Both of these ratio at its peak of 4000 rpm for both of cars. These are in normal d mode however. Try to drive a persona auto. and if you feel it is already slow, then do not even bother to buy exec preve, because it will be much more slower due to additional weight. There is "s" mode which you can choose during hill climb. That would prevent you from being a turtle there. You can hardly equate Persona's engine output to Preve IAFM+. The CVT is far more efficient than 4AT. Added on July 29, 2012, 3:55 pmQUOTE(diadokmai @ Jul 29 2012, 02:59 PM) WAH...LIKE That ka.. its that ur hand? u got very slim fingers... "Thumbing" is underrated. Those who have been fingering their Preve should try thumbing it to see if it feels better.
