Hi I planned to further study into robotic engineering, but since last time I'm graduated from I.T. Software engineering background, does it possible that I could take master in robotic engineering?

And I suppose I can only study in Master if the professor accept me as his research student?

Not possible in technological field. In business field you can switch major coz inter-related.

If it is possible for an art stream student to venture into science related course, I dont see why it is impossible for field switching for master courses esp. if it is by research? I can be wrong though. All you need to do is to enquire from the universities or the colleges.Ask ask and ask.
You can do your master in taught course or by research. depends whether the respective uni offers it or not.
