Nope, turn off service such as QOS, etc will free up some ram, and what version are your router using now?

7.09?

Added on October 17, 2012, 9:06 am

TM do have 50mbps and 100mbps unifi package actually, if you are willing to pay anyway, just need to ask the right person biggrin.gif

That is not helpful. Well it's stupid for cimbclick to not put it on the internet category, it's on the telecommunication category.

Will it work with the Set top box and stable no fuss connection? How much is it

thx

just call tm and tell them ur probs, they will replace new router. or if u willing to fork out a few hundred, can buy an asus router and use ur dlink as a vlan 500 switch

Anyone from Selayang Permai/Selayang Jaya area on Unifi? Any problems? Thinking of upgrading from my existing Streamyx 1mbps.

If I go with the VIP5 plan, what is the usual download speed I'll be getting?

And on the monthly cap of 60GB, I realize it's not in effect now, but any rumours on when it will be in place, if at all? Because 60GB is a farce, I'll finish that in less than a week.

Aside from the speed, any difference between the standard streamyx and Unifi, apart from the Hypptv stuff and all. I mean in terms of protocols or websites blocked.

they will not impose quota until other isps decide to.

at the beginning, the quota was there, but people were mad and threatens to boycott tm, which is why the quota is removed again.

look at other countries, where got quota?
tm only wants to earn, cut bandwidth costs by implementing quota. its not their server cant handle, is the wan earn more.

\maximize profit, as max as it can get
bloody money suckers

u r wrong my friend. just look at india. a country that well developed of IT, yet all got quota even with wired internet connection. just be grateful for what u have in malaysia.blessed with lots of unlimited internet option such as streamyx. there, for 3Mbps unlimited internet, u have to pay rm300.such a BS. btw, im not an indian. just a malaysian student studying in india tongue.gif
*
it depends on country actually
majority of india is not developed, and infrastructure is limited
thats y got quota

guy,
will IPTV hog our lines?
if let say i subscribe to VIP5
and i download BT running @ 5mbps max
will my IPTV lag or it still function smooth?
reason i asking is my house having 6 pc running minimum and not yet include 5 tablet and smartphone connect to it
*
11 devices, might as well change router
the dir 615 will have hiccups if too many devices connected at once

I exploded my DIR-615 a few days ago and they just replaced it with the L7 modem. Anyone have any idea how to set the configuration so that I can use my own router with the L7 as vlan bridge like how we can use the 615?Hehehehehehe
*
how is this modem doing compared to the old dir 615?

This is the modem unifi gave me. (Ignore the black modem cause its my streamyx). So far, performance is excellent. No disconnection. No hang. Max speed while torrenting can reach 6mb.

what about if many people connected at once? the current dir 615 (old 1) reboots itself after 6 ppl continuously youtube..
