QUOTE(victorwan @ Jul 31 2012, 12:46 AM)
Really can keep same number for Unifi for free?

That lousy customer service officer at TM office at Damansara Utama told me NO SUCH THING!!!

Anyone can tell me who can I contact to CONFIRM all these???

Really all of them like do not know happen at all for what service available.

Added on July 31, 2012, 12:58 am

what the heck !!!

I have moved to a new condo from landed property and wanted to move the Streamyx telephone number to new condo.

That customer service officer at TM point at Damansara Utama told me CANNOT move the Streamyx line there because there is NO COPPER wire at new condo and only got Fiber optic cable for Unifi.

Then, he said cannot use the SAME telephone number for Unifi.

Then, he said, if want to use same telephone number, have to PAY RM26 per month to because a normal telephone number and there will be another new number for Unifi.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!  mad.gif  vmad.gif

My new condo is at Bukit Utama 9 at Bandar Utama.

Anyone can tell me WHO at TM point that I can talk to to confirm can use the SAME telephone number without paying any additional for Unifi???

Any Unifi agent can help me here???
*
Your case is quite uncommon.
1stly, you want to relocate your streamyx to your new house and only upgrade to unifi. (mana tau new house no streamyx infra, means cannot relocate streamyx)

You can't maintain your number anymore because IF you want to maintain, streamyx must be upgraded to unifi. (tak mungkin you upgraded to unifi now and only relocate to your new house. not to say you cannot do this, but it is very high cost duh)

Think properly hmm.gif hmm.gif

my friend have to use new number also...
i wonder how he can do tht
*
I think TM point didn't know about this.
We actually can choose to keep existing number.
To those who registered unifi before 22/6 still need to pay RM26/month to maintain, but now its already free to keep!! rclxm9.gif

my fren wants unifi install at his new store.
so he should be taking unfi biz right.
now the question is can he take unifi vip?
*
If the address has been locked to BIZ area, then he can't take VIP package.
Because TM system will not appear VIP package for the choices.

Try to change default DNS to google DNS or OpenDNS.

Google DNS
8.8.8.8 | 8.8.4.4

OpenDNS
208.67.222.222 | 208.67.220.220

Hi Guys,

If i started to use UNIFI as a new user by this month, September. which mean i have to pay like the following ?!

- VIP5 Rm149 + 15 days which is RM7X.
  October the bill is RM149+RM7X.

After that, November will becoming RM149 and same to the rest of the months, correct?

I want to double confirm about this. Since currently installation Unifi no need deposit and installation fees.

And how much i can get back my deposit as a previous Streamyx user?!

Thanks~!
*
Hi,

You are correct. You have to pay RM10 for stamp duty in October bill.
So the bill should be RM 7X + RM 149 + RM 10

After that november onwards, your bill will be RM 149 if you didn't subscribe to any hypptv packages and call out to hp smile.gif
