hi i have a question.

previously i was having streamyx in a box. paying RM198+ RM78 (my 2nd fixed line number) per month. (RM198 = RM120 internet and 1st phone line RM79 )

Ive just changed to Unify, RM199 with a new phone line.

I am confused...can you explain to me how does this work? so now i have to pay RM199 plus the existing 2nd phone line RM79? or RM199 + 79 + 78?

The unify comes with a new phone number, is it possible to change the phone number to my current phone number? because now i have 3 fixed line number. one unuse. :s

its a new number , and U can't used the old number for the unifi , so its either u cancel the old two lines and use the new number by paying RM198 or retain the old line and continue to pay for the old existing line + unifi smile.gif

Cancel the old phone lines. Just use the unifi phone. It's way cheaper and free to call tm lines for home users.

---

If you still want to retain the old phone number, just do a forwarding service to the unifi number. RM9 a month if I am not mistaken.

forwarding service? what does that mean? is it they call the old number but the number is forwarded to the unifi number? so i pay for 1 unifi number and one existing numbers or i still have to pay for 1 unifi number and both existing numbers?

btw, cant cancel and replace to new number coz its a company number. printed in all name cards and invoices.

thanks for the prompt reply

Added on November 30, 2012, 5:54 pmthe marketing guy didnt explained clearly to me. he told me i just have to add extra one ringgit to enjoy unifi services. and he told me they will free a cordless phone. i thought physically a cordless gadget only didnt know with a new number. ;(

what can i do to not pay for 3 numbers? any suggestions? thanks!

hi,

i have went to TM net yesterday. although not able to change a unifi phone number to a streamyx number, but there can waive the rental fee for the streamyx line, which means the streamyx number is still there for incoming calls, but for outgoing calls, i will use the unifi number. which the calling rate is slightly cheaper. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
btw, only can waive one phone line's rental fee. so my bill will be RM199 + 78. one ringgit higher than my previous bill. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
