Hey guys,

I wish to subscribe to Unifi VIP10. I do not want to use their router and I wish to change it to my own router for a wider wifi coverage and speed enhancement.

Can I actually change the router? Also, which router can be supported by unifi? I do not need the IpTV thou.

Seriously, UniFi online application suck to the max! mad.gif

I tried to apply online on my address, half way through they said got an issue contacting the server. Fine, I wait and try again later. Then they say this address is not UniFi serviceable. I can 100% confirm my area is within service coverage. Then I called them, they investigate everything for me and said, this address's port have been full. I was like WTF?!?!

None of my family member apply in this address, and it is a landed property. Why the hell will full, and I don't understand the reason they apply this rule? After a success application, then just remove this address from database, done story. Why got port thingy?

Then I asked, how can I do application then? They ask me to go TM Point. Then after go there, is just to report to them about the port full thing, not application yet. Then they will take about half a month just to clear port. Then I was like WTF again.

The thing now is, I need Unfi quite urgently, thats is the reason why I apply online and plan to make appointment end of the month. I apply half month earlier because I know their service will be SLOW....

They want me to go down to TM which is difficult for me who are in Singapore now. This sucks!

All the ports are used up due to high demand.

Since they know the port have been full, then they will have to add port immediately. But when I called them, they say need me go TM point report to them then only they will take action. WTH is this?!

But since they have already realised that the port is full, then they will have to add more port isn't it?

They request me to make a report then only they willing to take action (add port). I understand port can be full. In the phone call, I asked them to add port so that I am able to apply. They insist me to make report for them to take action.
