Is there any one else having issue with UniFi like us starting from yesterday?

Our UniFi connection is constantly going down for a while then come up, then going down and up again after a while, the same happens until currently.

The PING results is like this.

A heads up for those who have Maybank2Card.

It is now possible to pay Unifi bills with M2AMEX via M2U.

So now you can easily pay your Unifi bill online during weekends and get that 5% cashback as well as x5 treatpoints.  thumbup.gif

This is a really great news for Maybankard2 users, thanks bro!

yes... make sure to do it during the weekend to get that 5% cashback - if you haven't hit the cap of RM50 that is. If not you can pay on any other day and just get the x5 treatpoints.

Just read the following from shuyina's post, now TM sacrifice home users so business users can have better routing to China because home users is just a best effort basis service? mad.gif

QUOTE(shuyina @ Nov 10 2012, 10:32 PM)
Dear All

Regarding issues to China:

Due to the current on-going congestion towards China. This is the best and optimized route we can provide to this destination at this moment and we have already include this into our list of complaints for our Global routing team to take action on capacity improvement to the region. Currently TM face Business Limitation policy by China ISP that delaying effort  to increase link capacity to China . Until then, no further action is possible to fine tune the path. Do advice for our ticket closure

Current update from IP CoRE team:

This is a notification email to inform that Network Global, ISPNM will withdraw UNIFI HOME and STREAMYX HOME from congested CHINA peering today under ERFC. This is based on Management direction today due to congestion issue to CHINA. As a result of this, customer  might experience issue such as increasing no of hop in traceroute back to customers and higher latency than usual for HOME users to China content/sites which is expected based on BEST EFFORT basis for HOME users.

However, appreciate if you can let us know if there is any complaint made by customer  ie: outage, cannot browse, extreme latency and service impacted complaint only.

Appreciate your co-operation. TQVM.

We also notice inconsistent speed in recent weeks, a lot of times HD videos on YouTube cannot play without buffering, sometime even same for 480p/360p videos.

Is UniFi getting worse?
