Just to let u guys know something
when my bro upgraded to oku 20 from vip 5 since last week sat. The speed was like download capped at 5 with a flux of upload to 20. capped meaning u will see it hitting 20 and then slowing down to 5.

dlink router given normal config was totally changed with no QSS on it etc.
Changed to tp-link 1043nd for him
20/20.

so the question is. Is there more to the dlink settings that cant be seen in the management username id??

It was capping my bro at 5.

interesting eh.

I dont understand, why the port will full. What do they mean by full?
*
u see the tm box? inside there are ports.
picture a router, 4 lan ports.

u have 4 pcs connected to all lan ports. that is what "port is full" means.

additional info : the fibre distribution unit (tm box) has a total of 7 ports inside. and it supports only 4~6 houses. that means one house in the area can have an extra line.

every tiang got 1 box right? so every tiang actually supports 7 houses, provided 1 line per house. but some users are selfish, house already gt but wan own line also. so 1 house use 2 port.

ur area might be congested, (alot of user) thats why no port available.

Hello guys. I just got UniFi installed in my house and I have an issue regarding HyppTV.

As the place where I put my TV is far away from the router, I have decided to connect the router and set-top box together using homeplugs in order to watch HyppTV offered by UniFi.

However, HyppTV refuses to work properly. Everything works fine except Live TV. I get a satellite-looking logo near the bottom right of my TV with a slash over it when viewing Live TV. VOD works fine as well as the programme information and The set-top box is successfully connected to the router. When I connect the set-top box to the router directly using a network cable, everything works flawlessly.

Is it because there are some compatibility issues with the homeplug and set-top box? But somehow I think this does not make any sense. I tried using the homeplugs to surf the Internet and it works.

Has anyone come across a similar issue? Thanks.

By the way, the homeplugs I'm using are D-Link DHP-500AV PowerLine AV 500 Adapter.

Yeah. But it doesn't even work when I connect to a socket directly. I have tried another set of homeplugs but to no avail. Is it possible that the set-top box is faulty?
