QUOTE(XtraSpicy @ Sep 30 2012, 02:24 PM) Hi guys, can anyone help me with unifi? Change to Google DNS... I solved that prob by using GDNSI just installed unifi 2 days ago, vip5 and everything is on default. What happens is, for me, google search ran really quickly, youtube load pretty fast, but everything else is a crawl.. When i click on a link on google hits, it takes forever to load, google maps cant load, gmail cant load, even lowyat forum dont load.. It is worst than my streamyx.. Any idea whats going on? Thanks. |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Oct 19 2012, 03:33 PM) Remember folks: I applied through one of the agents that went door 2 door. But then, because my neighbour did not apply with them, their house (just next to me) is not listed in UniFi's coverage area..."TM Unifi agen di tepi jalan dan agen yang pergi ke rumah anda BUKAN DARI TMpoint". Just received the flyer from TMpoint. Lots of complain from customers, usually these agent won't explain things in detail and just looking for maximum profit. Eg, customer subscribed to Business plan instead of home plan, high priced package, fiber cable not installed and secure properly, never explain about Streamyx / phone line termination etc. You're not dealing with TM staff. However, there are still honest agent out there, like the one that came to my house last year. It's just be extra careful. |

QUOTE(winter01942 @ Oct 28 2012, 02:25 AM) It will be even better logically, for LAN transfers.... switched to b/g/n.eg. Streaming from NAS or just transferring files to another pc.... All devices that support wireless N can fully utilise the higher speed.. I dont think you will run into any trouble .... I dont know about power consumption but how much can a router use?? I dont think I notice any speed different.. |

QUOTE(joeaggas @ Nov 28 2012, 07:40 PM) I subscribed to UNIFI in Aug 2009 on VIP10. After > 24 months usage, I decided to downgrade (all the wasted bandwidth) to VIP5 in Oct 10th, 2012. Unfortunately, I didn't read most of the clauses written in the T&C by TM but I do know I need to serve the 24 months contract. Any downgrade i'll need to pay a penalty. I thought unifi was launched in the middle of 2010?Then I found out about the RM200 downgrade fee (one-time), they charge to my bill. Question is, what does this fee entails? What service or work is involved that TM need to charge their customer (long term) this amount? Any idea guys? |
