Try use official tm speedtest website

http://speedtest1.unifi.my
http://speedtest2.unifi.my

as for speedtest.net, I usually choose SG server..dont know why SG is better than some of server at kl

What router u're using? 1500? UniFi's optimal MTU is 1492. Try setting static ip on xbox, then put it in DMZ? Most likely microsoft/xbox/unifi side problem tho

Just read the following from shuyina's post, now TM sacrifice home users so business users can have better routing to China because home users is just a best effort basis service? mad.gif

QUOTE(shuyina @ Nov 10 2012, 10:32 PM)
Dear All

Regarding issues to China:

Due to the current on-going congestion towards China. This is the best and optimized route we can provide to this destination at this moment and we have already include this into our list of complaints for our Global routing team to take action on capacity improvement to the region. Currently TM face Business Limitation policy by China ISP that delaying effort  to increase link capacity to China . Until then, no further action is possible to fine tune the path. Do advice for our ticket closure

Current update from IP CoRE team:

This is a notification email to inform that Network Global, ISPNM will withdraw UNIFI HOME and STREAMYX HOME from congested CHINA peering today under ERFC. This is based on Management direction today due to congestion issue to CHINA. As a result of this, customer  might experience issue such as increasing no of hop in traceroute back to customers and higher latency than usual for HOME users to China content/sites which is expected based on BEST EFFORT basis for HOME users.

However, appreciate if you can let us know if there is any complaint made by customer  ie: outage, cannot browse, extreme latency and service impacted complaint only.

Appreciate your co-operation. TQVM.

Use any pc that is connected to the unifi network. Open command prompt and type "ipconfig" , from there set an IP address based on the ipconfig output. Make sure the IP address you are going to assign for the Xbox is not assigned to any other network device. The IP address should look something like this : 192.168.0.X / Default gateway : 192.168.0.X

Replace "X" as your network configuration value which will be shown in "ipconfig"

found this from google:
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live/co...-setting-979104

Have you tried that?

I dont really use xbox, only when visiting other's house... I try google your problem, from my quick look it seems quite soe people have this problem, could be due to their ISP, due to their router or config problem... but there are too many things to look at rclxub.gif

After all, Streamyx biz? & Unifi biz users still pay more than home users...

I would think that, you pay more you get more is okay in this context lo...
Rather than you pay more, but get same as the less. That's fked up notworthy.gif

Plus many other online forum also got people complain slow link to china. Just search 'slow china connection forum' & u can see many users from around the region also experience same thing. Hopefully it's true that the limitation is at China ISP side rclxub.gif
