i check at taiwan and china website, their MSRP is abt RM2150, but street price is RM1575 (converted from chinese renminbi to ringgit)

http://product.pconline.com.cn/mobile/sony/509422.html

hopefully malaysia AP set will be cheaper than this..

understand that google is giving AOSP support to Xperia S, but what will this benefit the xperia s in future? means we will be getting 4.1 or 4.2 or 5.0 quickier than other phone? Sony has very bad dev support for phones they released, i felt samsung is better because old phone still can get jelly bean (as promised). Sony has no response at all regarding whether phone will get upgrade o not.

Guys, wanna ask on behalf of my student.
Why is it that his XPS when connected by USB on PC, it is recognised as a camera/scanner?

Verify which PC driver they installed for XPS. Probably they manually installed the driver and selected camera/scanner driver instead.
