Im an enchanter and was wondering, do encahntment stack with the atrributes of the item??

for example, staff of jordan have +26 healing and spell damage, does the "Enchant Weapon - Spell Power" that adds 30 damage to spells able to add up with the staff's attribute?? *26+*30 spell damage?? thanks in advance. notworthy.gif

good question... I would love to know the answer to this as well.

Eventhough I'm a Mage myself, i choose to go with mining and skinning... tongue.gif

Yes, enchantments stack with original attributes of the item. They don't stack with player-added stats, though. As in an enchantment would overwrite any other tradeskill-added enhancement to the item.

Anything. Armor kits, Utilities (chains, spurs, spikes), and enchants will overwrite one another. You can only have one player mod to an item at a time, unfortunately. sad.gif

you can always test to see if it can be used. if it overrides, it will ask you first whether you want to remove the old effect & proceed with replacing it with the new effect.
