I'm on my 1.5 tank now.
Got 17.8km/l in my first tank.

As far as I can see, HCH has bad fc during bad traffic jam,
Whereas the fc is surprisingly good in highway.
From the midi, the worst fc I got during traffic jam is 12-13km/l, and the best is 23-24km/l in highway.

If I am not mistaken, HCH 2012 is using second gen Honda hybrid technology. The air condition still remain cold during auto stop. There is no dead lock on the coasting speed. You can still purely use battery motor at 110km/h. This come as a little surprise to me as I was told by SA that the dead lock speed is 50km/h.

seriously, Toyota Prius have better fc than Honda hybrid....Prius could achieve 19-22km/l average...

Yes, I do agree with your quoted figure.
I notice that high fc is needed when you start the engine. If we are able to start with pure EV mode, somehow it should have an edge here. Therefore, this is definitely a plus point for Toyota hybrid.

Another thing is during bad traffic jam, pure EV mode should play a big role too. However, it is not true anymore when it's extremely jam (not able to move much). At that time, Prius will also need petrol to charge the battery.

Btw, I do think that Honda may have slightly better fc in highway, as it doesn't have any dead lock speed. It can still enjoy "EV" mode at 100km/h.

To me, 20k++ cheaper (compared to Prius) and better exterior design are the 2 main reasons!

By the way, how does your fc looks like? I saw a few HCH on road around klang valley recently...

Will HCH 1.5L under power? Im attract by the elegance look,
confuse which to get, either CR-Z or HCH~

Not really... You can always switch to "S" mode if you need to accelerate. The fc will still be low if you do not press hard..
Hope this answer your question

Photo can be obtained from this link
http://www.mudah.my/Honda+Hybrid+A+-18570301.htm

Up to date mileage is ~4600km
FC is very much dependent on driver's skill, as well as traffic condition. It won't be good for short distance travel. As for me, I'm getting slightly >18km/l in average..
