I am thinking of getting this Civic Hybrid. Now with 3k rebate.
Can the current owner share what are the common issues with the current model? Is it worth paying 116k for this car?
Thank you

QUOTE(regnox @ Oct 20 2013, 11:49 PM) what are you looking for in a car? problems, -the regenerative brake isnt consistent and can get annoying after awhile. -boot is too smalll not really a problematic car la. honda is reliable. slap on a bodykit and youll have a sporty and sleek ride I am looking for a reliable car for long term use of 10 years or more if condition still good. Glad to hear that Civic Hybrid is reliable and less problematic. Most like likely I will get one very soon. Join you guys later. Thanks

QUOTE(regnox @ Oct 21 2013, 08:56 PM) well japanese cars are well known for their reliability, so you dont have to concern yourself about that, plus the new warranty for the hybrid battery has been extended to a further 8 year warranty. so you can breath a sigh of relief. personally, this car has saved me tons of $ on petrol, as i commute a distance of 40+40km per day, this car is most economical apparently on highways. so yea, if youre looking for a stylish fuel saving vehicle that is around 100k budget, look no further, civic hybrid is the choice Good to know your civic hybrid is reliable and problem free. Now honda is giving 3k rebate. Other than this what other gifts or discount should I ask from the SA. Do you know the current best offer? Thanks

Dear Civic Hybrid owners,
I have one last question before I put in my booking today.
Last night a friend of mine told me that Honda Hybrid will shut down the aircond when stuck in heavy traffic jam or when the car is stationery (waiting for someone). Is this true?
Thank you

QUOTE(mirage81 @ Oct 29 2013, 09:55 AM) i had ask HONDA HZN foreman regarding about changing rim even though was HONDA RIM (CRZ, INSIGHT), consider warranty void on your absorber.. but he had told me that, if u really wanna change RIM, max is to increase to 16 inch only.. more than that is nt recommended.. Good info. warranty void for absorber no problem to me as long as it does not affect the performance of the car. Are you considering changing your rim? May be someone can share some nice rim for all to consider.

QUOTE(katmai81 @ Oct 29 2013, 06:18 PM) The original rims are good enuf di.... And in fact easier to clean.... Too many spokes difficult I find the original rim ugly. CRZ hybrid original rim is nice.

QUOTE(katmai81 @ Nov 5 2013, 05:02 PM) The foreman was telling me...older cars fuel tank has inner lining ...hence no knocking sound. But new car don't have for the sake of fuel consumption improvement.....hence got occs knocking sound. He knows it cause he claims to have gone to the training course for hch If what the foreman said is true, it should happen to all civic hybrid and non-hybrid. But not all civic hybrid owner having this problem?

QUOTE(ehklee @ Nov 11 2013, 09:55 AM) Finally made by booking yesterday. My SA told me that the previously discontinued Grey alike color is now replaced by a new color Modern metalic. Good that they still have a new color replacement. What is that Modern metallic color? When I place my booking only 3 colors available, black, white and frosty white (light bluish).
