I have bought HCH in 2017 OTR 68k.
2013 year and mileage about 10xK.
Overall HCH is quite good.
But I abit not satisfy with performance.
Lack of a bit power. Top speed about 150km/h only
Found that my aircon compressor started to have some issue.
Fuel consumption isn’t as good compare to 2017.
I feel quite shaky( Honda SC Techician said sampan)😂
So I installed level 1 racing bar.
My steering control is better. Last time I have to hold steering with both hands to make sure my steering won’t turn away when a bus or lorry pass by my on highway.
not that shaky. But still shaky.

The thing that I dislike the most is the brake. When engine goes idle, it feels like move forward really fast. And this happen when I was driving waja when I change gear from D to N. Make city ride not so comfort. And brakes isn’t good when I drive fast like 110-130km/h

Anyone will have brake issue like me?
According to Honda SC, it born to be like this. Cannot be fixed?

Today my hybrid encounter ac blow hot air.
The ac clutch is not engage during turn on ac.
Anyone encounter this before ?

It's confirm leaking. Likely to be cooling coil.
Check with Honda SC and it going to cost app Rm1800 on original cooling coil itself. Include labor will be app Rm2400/=.
Check with local A/C shop claim to be Rm1K++ with labor on coil replacement ( for ORIGINAL ).
If non original ( not sure what brand ) will cost rm600++ with labor.
Check with another supplier, the cost of cooling coil ( from china ) itself cost RM200/=.

I think I would opt for local replacement ( RM600++) on clone type  as drier and expansion valve probably need to replace together.
People still need to make some little earning on labor too.

Mine happened yesterday and the switch auto jumped to outside air.  So, no air con.  Is it my compressor, cooling coil or what else?  Mine is civic hybrid 2013 from Japan.

Mines switch auto jumped to outside air and cannot switch back inside air. Unless stop n restart engine, then only can switch on back to inside air. Ixxit same like me? Mines also 2013 from Japan. And it take me spend spend RM4K+ to change the whole aircon compressor.

Just a rough calculation...saved rm25k in fuel..253k km...spend back rm10k for repairs... still save rm15k for battery n dont know what else coming......but market value for this hybrid is at least 15k lower than non hybrid...end up zero savings...shiok sendiri...green car.

I read the usa car guide... air con should last 10 to 12 years.  Ours die 3 to 5 years....and replacement compressor only warranted for 6 months or 10000km!  Not even 1 year.

How long is the hybrid battery replacement warranted? I read 8 years... anyone knows?

moreover, have read a write-up about the Recovery/ recycling/ recharge (RRR) machines that is specifically required for servicing hybrid cars air-cond system where it is required to meet the SAE specification J2788H..

reason being our hybrid car electric compressor is sensitive to non-compatible compressor oil that will lead to premature failure of its motor windings...

reason being my air-cond system is now giving problems where during morning & highway drives is still able to produce cool air but is unable to do so in the afternoon & traffic jam drive...

moreover, noticed my engine idle auto stop now no longer works when the air-cond is not producing cool air...

nope...engine oil change all done by myself...never went to non-Honda w'shop..

yeap...nothing much to change as mileage upto now is onli 26,000km...mebbe need to change now the cabin air / pollen filter?

My civic hybrid show "check charging system", SC quoted me rm15k for repair. Well my loan tenure is 9 years , I still have 3 more years to finish paying. If I sell to secondhand car dealer, I'm offered rm35k ( have to repair first).

If you were me, will you repair it and sell, get another petrol car like honda jazz

or repair it and continue to use it fearing another expensive parts break down again?

Mines is from Japan. But i heard from Honda CS, all civic hybrid also having the same problem, depend on ur luck, if u lucky enough, ur aircon might last 4-6 years, those unlucky need to change compressor every 2-3 years... and tis is manufacturer defect, is a design failure   which cannot solve by them unless they come out a new design of compressor.

May I know what are the function of the above 3 buttons?

And is there an option to turn off the auto-stop feature?
