I noticed Proton Inspira also have the "kluk kluk" sound while going through the road bump (as attached). Could this be the culprit?

QUOTE(nalc_lai @ Nov 27 2013, 07:15 PM) Im not sure its FD2R badge or not... Coz i simply ask them to replace the current emblem with the red badge (type R)... You not DIY? Where you did this and how much you spent on the emblem? No mod needed as it can fit in + 3M double sided tape... At 1st i wanna replace stering emblem too... But unlike the front n rear one.. they took out the existing n replace with the new one... For stering they will paste the new red badge to existing one make me feel not satisfied n cancell it.... |

After first oil change at 10k, use 0W-20 as suggested by Honda. I felt the car somehow lost power.

QUOTE(geek8585 @ Feb 4 2014, 10:38 PM) appreciate if you can share the FC... Car lost power but FC seems reduced also. Before 10k oil change, averagely city drive at 17.x km/l. Now can run on 18.x-19.x km/l. If the city drive does not involve a lot of full stop, just crawling smoothly at 30-50kmh, the FC can be 23km/l.using 0w20 confirm will lost power compare to the mineral oil due to the oil density... perhaps, 5w40 might be a better choice? |

QUOTE(geek8585 @ Feb 6 2014, 09:22 AM) yes, 0w20 is specially blend for hybrid cars... definitely will be better in terms of FC... Honda told me that the 5w40 is RM199 while 0w40 is RM129 but i just wondering is it 5w40 suitable for the hybrid... my house myvi with 5w40 eneos doing very well... and the density of 5w40 is thicker, hence better protection for the engine from wear and tear... is the power lost very significant? Power loss is kinda significant to me. However ride is smooth after it has picked up the speed, example cruising at 90-110kmh. |

QUOTE(geek8585 @ Feb 6 2014, 09:33 AM) yea, the grip is not there for the engine piston to pick up... I use like 2500km per month. Don't mind the power loss though, I'm not driving a Civic Type R anyway. I'm more concern the FC.but i am quite suprise with the price tag if the oil... i think i gonna tried on 5w40... since my monthly mileage wont exceed 1500km, guess wont be a big impact for me in terms of FC |
