Guys, anyone encountered the same experience as I do now. Since last night, my car alarm kept triggering. I checked the door and car interior, all are ok. It is still happening today. I am puzzle and do not know what's wrong with the alarm. My car is lesser than 1 year. Sigh.

May be one of the alarm sensor disconnect or mulfunction. Last time when i go collect my HCH, i not even drive it, when the sales man explain to me what function and feature of the car tat time, my HCH door sensor not function and my dash board appear an “ !” symbol showing there is some problem on my car. Any how the sales man ask me drive it bek home 1st and send it to Shamelin service center to run system diagnosis checking on next day. I send my car to Shamelin Honda service center next day morning, they run thru all the test, still can't find out what problem, after 5 hours of checking, the senior mechanic engineer call bek to Japan HQ and ask for their help. Then they dismantle the door panel, at last the problem happen is due to 1 sensor socket unplug. During installation in Japan, may be the operator didnt fully plug in the socket, so while the car driving down from the trailer, the socket loose and unplug and cause the problem. Funny right? Actually just open the door panel and plug in bek the socket then problem solve.

More advance technology car bringing more trouble actually.

Thanks bro. Didn't know there's a service centre at Shamelin. My usual service center is at Pandan Indah. Hopefully they can help solve the problem. Also, whenever my car run over bumpy road, there is a "loose screw" noise out from the front passenger site panel. I did a check nothing loose. Wonder where it comes from. Was thinking of asking them to check as well.

Guys, I am interested to buy HCH soon, maybe next year after GST coz my friend said GST will cause the car price to drop.
I go check Honda website, inside is still 2012 model with 119k.
But the CBU tax exemption already no more, will HCH also got affected?

really honda dont have any stock for 119k ? then why they advertise in their website as 119k ? sure they should have some stock left in order to advertise as 119k. the 119k is valid for the stock still last. can someone confirm or verify this.

I just called the customer service number, redirected to sale department.
Seems like it is fully depends on the dealers themselves if they are having any stock left for 119k model.
I called 2 branches in johor, both saying out of stock already.
Asking me to check maybe northern part will have the 119k stock.

Seems here need to do alot of asking for the 119k stock liao... cry.gif cry.gif

I can confirm the Penang Kah Motors also no unit left for HCH. My unit was one of the 2 units left. New imported unit will be RM177k. Check on mudah for left-over HCH offered by outside Kah Motors. maybe you can still find.

alternatively, you can wait for Honda City Hybrid which is supposedly to at launch end of 2014.

Guys, the new CBU HCH priced by Honda Malaysia at RM185.5k

So does previous owner who bought at RM119k will experience an appreciation in their resale value?

Hi guys, what engine oil do u guys use for your HCH? I previously used mineral oil but was advised by Honda service to use full synthetic (5W40) for better performance. After 2 months of usage, I felt that power is no difference from using mineral oil and the fuel consumption is worst. Any experience here to share?

i suggest u change back to 0w20 in your next service...

5w40 is too thick for our hybrid and you might experience further jerking with your ride smile.gif

I am using Honda Mineral oil still. I insisted on mineral oil during my 10,000km service. I was ridiculed by the Honda service manager (section head). The point is, Honda heavily marketed that their mineral oil is of very good quality. It is sufficient for city drive. I seldom go on highway nor any mountain roads.

My 90% city FC is about 17.7km/l now with ECON, gentle foot with occasional acceleration to overtake stupid cars and at traffic lights. I am not the kind that snail my car up to speed from a stop. regard me as Mildly Aggressive.

ECON Off, I get about 16km/l on 90% city.

Worst is when if I make plenty of stops and waiting for someone for 3mins+, my FC will drop to 14km/l.
