Finally I know now why my fuel consumption was around 13km/l. It was because I often stop and idle for at leat 5 mins waiting for wife to to grab something at the shops. Sometimes also reach 15mins idling....ie engine and are and is running.
So I tested recently by switching off the car and sacrifice myself standing outside or sitting inside car waiting. With that I can achieve above 15km/l in city with many traffic stops and go. All that with ECON OFF.
When driving light footed on highway with Econ ON I can get above 19km/l easily.

No problem. (or use a brick... hahha)

Hi guys, need advise. I did my 10K service a week ago. During the service, the SC ask for options to change the engine oil. I chose the standard - which is the V-TECH oil.
Yesterday, my friend who drove a Proton told me that V-TECH oil is for every 5K interval then need to change.
But for our HCH, it is every 10K....
Will my car need to change the now loaded V-TECH oil next 5K or the 10???

Do you guys know what is the cause because it seems to rattle quite bad... Probably steering rack. This happened on some Honda City iDSI 2003 as well. It doesnt cause any problem to the driving nature, just the annoying noise. Some member had it resolved but many didn't becoz as usual most of Honda service centre doesn't know how or doesn't want to touch it. I had one such car and it is still working fine today after 11 years. My relative is driving it still.

U should go to a few service centre to try ur luck getting ur steering rack fixed. Perhaps now they have better knowledge of it after 11 years.

Im owiz think of hw gud if my HCH cn auto off when handbrake is up in N gear.. and only auto start when i press the brake pedal, switch to D n lift off the brake pedal to gas pedal..
