Zippo lighter fluid is actually a great and cheap substitute to enamel thinner. just that its prone to dry quicker
*
It dries quicker blink.gif ? Well that explains why the those jap. pros on Youtube seem to be using the stuff all the time: Quick drying panellining is great, shortens the time used for painting thumbup.gif

As soon as there's a sale going on for this kit, I'm on it: Gattling / Miniguns are just too cool drool.gif .

Here's a little soundtrack, when looking at the kit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BSWP0AThRg cool.gif

So u guys saying that it can be a substitute for paint remover?
*
To a limit, I guess: I've seen 'em using it to thin enamel-paints for letting the color run into the panellines and for cleaning up the thin excess using a Q-Tip. Dunno if it works on thicker color though....

1st cut review done, and you know where to go wink.gif Will do an add-on for the Urban Camouflage with more poses after Daban MG Blue Frame  brows.gif

Thanks for sharing such a detailed review rclxms.gif Bit out of dough atm but I like this kit. The gattling is awesome aaand you answered one of my big questions about the standard NU-parts being included - making this kit a real good deal (the resin version of this gattling was sold for 40USD blink.gif !!)

Two questions though: The resin kit included a metal-ammo-belt Meadeslemicah made a review about on Youtube...

Attached Image

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s-KEekctFg&feature=plcp

...but forgot where he got it or which brand it was doh.gif .

Any idea, where I could get this belt? The MC-belt is nice, but it doesn't look like a heavy ammo belt due to the material used.

Secondly I wonder why the China brands in general and therefore MC as well are going for this soft plastic hmm.gif I had problems glueing the SD-Ex-S made out of a softer plastic: Somewhat it didn't melt properly, making the parts prone to seperate again whenever I plugged in another part sad.gif .

Do I have to switch glue hmm.gif ? Is this soft plastic some sort of ABS maybe....

You've nailed it man rclxms.gif thumbup.gif Ori looks dull compared to your custom. Remember a few shots you've posted, but you've got a complete WIP somewhere? Hard to see where and how exactly you modified the kit with paint on.

BTW: Mind if I post this baby in another forum?

not sure what is this, but i know it's copied from NeoGrade's MG Ex-S conversion kit
possible colour plastic injection kit, or maybe just pre-painted resin parts

If this turns out to be a variation-plastic-kit like the Hi-Nu-Evo, then its rclxm9.gif all over the place: The proportions of this resin kit are so much better. I start praying right away notworthy.gif .

Simultaneous built here smile.gif . Did you have to sand all the armor-surface as well or was my kit just bad luck? Built the feet yesterday and had to sand them all around to get a smooth finish. Other than that: Love this kit wub.gif

This Kshatriya looks AWESOME drool.gif rclxms.gif Don't care too much about the size of the kit: The detailing is fantastic and I like the downsize treatment of the binders. Now I really hope this will be a model kit ( Elyns' remark about this being more of a collectors item makes me worry a bit sweat.gif ...)

First B*ndai, now this: Ex-S Patchwork in plastic, YES rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif If this kit comes across like the resin-kit with its bigger shoulders, smaller head and slim feet, this will be awesome drool.gif Any idea, when it will be released?

With photo etch

Wow now thats something
*
Now it starts to sound interesting again: Attaching armor to a preassembled frame didn't sound much like Gunpla anymore sad.gif , but photoetch is sth. I would really like to try out nod.gif This is like G-System-resin-Gunpla in plastic.

Encore pics of the GerberaTetra inner frame (With thanks to Lollipop at MechaLounge):

Looks really cool drool.gif Only thing is, that I can't make out any polycaps. China Gunpla with ABS hopefully???

I saw the price is around 300RMB, not sure the price after ship to Malaysia. I just know it quite expensive.
*
For the conversion-parts alone this would indeed be expensive, 'cause the E2046 resin-version sells for approx. 170RMB. However, if sold together with Ex-S-kit it's a good deal nod.gif

Elyn, G-Temple, now Lemi Model. It seems like new china-Gunpla-companies popping out all over the place blink.gif

wanna ask, what kind of sand paper u all use to sand the kits? got any special kind or jz ordinary sand paper?
*
Any sand paper is fine, however it should be water resistant. Otherwise they grain will dissolve if you try to wet-sand your kit.
